Guest Special K Report post Posted February 21, 2003 Battle Chasers was one of my frind's favorite comic booke, and I enjoyed the TPB. I just want to know, did they finally jost drop it after issue 9? Thanks
Guest Mad Dog Report post Posted February 21, 2003 Yeah there was no point in keeping it any more. It built up a good fan base when it first came out then he pissed it all away by waiting over a year to release the next issue. Then a few more came out and he did the same thing. A lot of people liked the book like me but we were sick of his crap.

Guest Vyce Report post Posted February 23, 2003 It's been said before, but I'll say it again: what a colossal fucking WASTE Joey Mads is. If I had his talent, I'd be a goddamn millionaire right now.
Guest Special K Report post Posted February 23, 2003 Battle Chasers was one comic where I actually enjoyed style over substance to a degree. God knows why he couldn't put out more than one comic every 3 months, though. C'est la vie
Guest KingOfOldSchool Report post Posted February 23, 2003 It's been said before, but I'll say it again: what a colossal fucking WASTE Joey Mads is. If I had his talent, I'd be a goddamn millionaire right now. I completely loved his style, and I was a carryover fan from his Uncanny run to Battle Chasers. He's who inspired me to be an artist, well, at least for a while, until I stopped collecting. He had some immense talent. I don't have a problem with the fact that he turned unhappy with what he was doing, because we've all been there. But at least finish off your committments and live up to your promises before you walk away.

Guest Crucifixio Jones Report post Posted March 23, 2003 As if anyone EVER thought that Battle Chasers would EVER come out on time or even make it to issue #20. I never had faith in the guy but I feel sorry for his die-hard fans who did. I can only imagine what is would be like to REALLY be into Battle Chasers, the art, the story, the whole nine and NEVER know when the next book was coming out. Can you imagine how many kids worried their retailers and comic shop owners SICK asking them when Battle Chasers was coming out? And then one day be holding onto, cherishing and re-reading #9 only for your pop to come home and tell you that there is NO MORE Battle Chasers? That'd be crushing. Poor kids. He straight fucked them in the ass this time. He could've AT LEAST handed the reigns over to one of the plethora of artists who ape his style to finish it out and wrap up the series. But noooooo. He just fucking DROPS it all together. It takes a special kind of creep to disappoint the kiddies. Joe Mad needs his ass whipped.
