Could a run-in have an effect on the wwf?

I posed this in another thread, but...

 

what if a group of fans decided to run-in during a match, could enough actually cause enough commotion to change the outcome entirely,

 

and how many would it take...

before the apa came down with the babyoil

The match would stop until things got sorted out. If it got totally out of hand then wrestlers would probably come out and try to help.

Plus, you could be sure that the cameras would cut away really quickly and that the announcers would barely acknowledge it, so whether or not it would affect the outcome of the match would be kind of a moot point. But it would be interesting to see it during the climax of a title match on a PPV, say just as someone is about to get pinned. What happens if they run out of time to finish the match because of the fan run-in?

 

Anyway, I think it would be funnier (as someone suggested on the old board) if a bunch of people ran in during a Stephanie interview and started dancing in front of her, Das Wunderkind-style.

let's say 7 guys (Steve, Tom, Dick, Barry,Hank,Spencer and  Dick #2.) all decide to run the ring. 2 wrestlers (A and B) and the ref are in the ring. Tom and Dick #1 are the first to jump, Two guards instantly capture them and throws them to the ground, then, the camera jerks to Ross and King, Cue, Spencer and Barry, they have already moved away from where T&D jumped and instantly  jumps over to Ross and King but the camera moves to the other side of arena while they put away SP&Barry, that allows Hank and Dick #2 to charge the ring since all the ring side guards are preoccupied with those guys, that leaves the ring open, most likely, A and B are clued in about this, If they have not gone to commerical yet, most likely they are show the ringside camera. Hank and Dick #2 then charge the ring...A lays Dick #2 out cold with a punch to the belly and Hank gets kicked harsh by B and that leaves Steve to use his head and leave the ringside area before he gets pointed.

Hmmm.  Interesting idea, actually.  You'd probably still get hurt, but if you could get together a dozen guys and all rush the ring at once, they couldn't just cut away and pretend it never happened.  

 

The ideal scenerio:

 

The black belt class from Butch Asskicker's Jiu Jitsu School all buy front-row seats at Raw, let's say there are fifteen of them.  They sit down and act like completely normal fans, including having really annoying signs.  But at a specific moment, agreed-upon by them, they storm the ring, probably during the overrun in the main event when TV time is getting short.  Being black belt martial artists, at least half of them get past the security and into the ring itself.  The wrestlers, seeing six guys come at them at once, immedietly bail out.  And then... well, the real cops would come in with guns and arrest them all and haul them down to jail, where they'd be charged with criminal trespass and felonious assault.  Oh well.  It's still a nice dream.
