Guest Downhome Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 I'll let it speak for itself, because I just don't know what to say. Here is the description from IMDB... Hollywood comedian/actor Pauly Shore loses everything: his house, nobody in Hollywood wants to represent him, he moves back home with his mom and is now parking cars at the Comedy Store. Then one night when he's up in his mom's loft, a dead famous comedian appears who tells Pauly to kill himself cause he'll go down as a comedic genius who died before his time. Pauly then fakes his own death, and the media goes crazy. Celebrities are talking about him on MTV and girls are fighting over him on Jerry Springer. It's everything that he wanted...his plan worked. A week or so later the LAPD is tipped off about his whereabouts and they break down the door of the seedy motel room that he's hiding out in and throw him in LA County's celebrity wing. ...and here is the cast... Cast (in credits order) Jaime Bergman .... Herself Ben Stiller .... Himself Sean Penn .... Himself Fred Durst .... Himself Tom Sizemore .... Himself Chris Rock .... Himself Whoopi Goldberg .... Herself Heidi Fleiss .... Herself Ellen DeGeneres .... Herself Kurt Loder .... Himself Chas. Allan .... Waiter Camille Anderson .... Herself A.J. Benza .... Himself Wes Borland .... Himself Todd Bridges .... Himself W. Earl Brown .... Bucky From Kentucky Tommy Chong .... Himself Dustin Diamond .... Himself Andy Dick .... Himself Snoop Dogg .... Himself Rick Ducommun .... Himself Jerry Dunphy .... Himself Perry Farrell .... Himself Charles Fleischer .... Himself Kirk Fox .... Kirk Isaac Hanson .... Himself Jordan Taylor Hanson .... Himself Zac Hanson .... Himself Dexter Holland .... Himself Clint Howard .... Himself Kato Kaelin .... Himself Carl LeBove .... Himself Tommy Lee (VI) .... Himself Mark McGrath (I) .... Himself Jason Mewes .... Himself Matt Pinfield .... Himself Sally Jessy Raphael .... Herself Sam Rubin .... Himself Mitzi Shore .... Herself Pauly Shore .... Himself Jerry Springer .... Himself Julie Stranahan .... Female Cop Scott 'Carrot Top' Thompson .... Himself Verne Troyer .... Himself Montel Williams .... Himself Marcia Wright .... Snoop's Girl ...it could be great, I mean after all, Pauly Shore himself co-wrote it with Kirk Fox, and is dirctor. Yes, comedic brilliance, nothing short of Pauly Shore. Sincerely, ...Downhome...
Guest kane3212321 Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 comedic brilliance, nothing short of Pauly Shore. Oh god it's gunna be awful
Guest SP-1 Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Well it's certainly an interesting premise at least. I'll keep an eye on it to see how it is coming along. He may surprise me and deliver something really great here, but then I'm not a hardcore, "OH MY GOSH I HAVE TO SEE THE NEW PAULY SHORE MOVIE" kind of fan of his, either, so that hesitant attitude is more a matter of my comedic tastes than a slight on Shore himself.
Guest jimmy no nose Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 There are 3 people in the whole movie not credited as playing him/herself. Is this movie available at video stores or whatever? I kind of want to see it for some reason.
Guest starvenger Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Pauly Shore and Carrot Top in the same movie? Sounds like the horror film event of the year...
Guest Nevermortal Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 I like Pauly Shore. Bio Dome, Jury Duty, Son-in-Law, and In the Army Now entertained me thoroughly. They aren't great films, but they kept my attention for 90 minutes. And Spoon would be interested to know that Bio Dome has KYLIE~!
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Who is the dead comedian that visits Pauly? Is it somebody playing a real passed comedian who might think of a gimmick like this, say Sam Kenison or Lenny Bruce, or is just some made up guy?
Guest razazteca Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 I can see Sam Kenison ghost haunting the Wiezle Kenison: "You know your in the shitter when you get turned downed for one of those celebrity reality shows, hahahehahaheh..............UR A FUCKIN LOSER OH OHHHHHHHH OHHHHHHH JUST SHOOT YOURSELF, how the hell can they cast fuckin Corey Feldman over your, all you have to do Paulie is pull the trigger. Mick Foley: BANG! BANG! Paulie Do it.......Ewwwwwwwwww[/squeel]
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Bah... this comes out and Run Ronnie Run sits in the can? Oh well, I'd watch it.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 And Spoon would be interested to know that Bio Dome has KYLIE~! Which is why it's all five of his top five films.
Guest Nevermortal Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 In the makeout scene, Shore grabs the biggest handful of ass ever.
Guest Mattdotcom Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Wow, Pauly Shore can't even get top billing in a movie he wrote and directed.
