WWE almost has a working deal with ECWA. They get a lot of their talent there. They found the Haas brothers there. Kevin Kelly works with them quite a but.

The Hardy Boyz and Steve Bradly were in the 1999 Super 8. Jamie Noble was in last years tourney.

Kendrick can work because the WWE is now allowing lower level talents to work indy shows as long as it doesnt interfere with their WWE work schedule. And I too predict London going over Kendrick in the finals. Its good to see Sabin (who looked good in the IWA match I saw of his), Strong, and Jeter in there also.

Yeah, Kevin Kelly is like a super-heel there too, isn't he? Wasn't he also their champ for a period?

This year has at least 3 excelent talents: London, Sabin, Kendrick...the other guys I'm not very familar with.

The 97 and 98 Super 8s didn't come off that great to me. This year's could be pretty good, I'd like to see the rest of the card though.

I think it's just because looking back at thr tournaments, there are so many "name" indy wrestlers. This year there are only two (Kendrick and London) who have a big following. Just like past years in the ECWA tournament, one or two of these guys will probably put on a damn good performance, and thus, earn the name they might deserve as other's have.

I used to attend ECWA shows once in a while. I remember being at Cheetah Master's retirement match. But when Kevin Kelly started playing a heel I just didn't make the effort to get there anymore.

I haven't been to an ECWA show in 5 years. I just couldn't take seeing almost the exact same show month after month. I was kicking myself for not going to last years Super 8, but this year I'm defently going.
