Every new coach gets that option, but on the game now, you just take over the team with picks made before. The pool of draftees of the year would be re-picked. Also, the computer could release a few of the crappier players from their team automatically, like one team on my game that now has 5 QBs. They could release a few. Reasonable CPU/CPU trades could be allowed. Maybe some process where the player would have to approve the trade (to stop any weird moves where tons of famous guys get sent to other teams) Default setting to have 'retired' numbers (or numbers not offered) assigned to new players or given to other players. Like: #40 of Sayers, #16 of Len Dawson, or in unassigned examples, #12 of Terry Bradshaw or #37 of Joe Delaney. Anythings that you would change on Madden? Guest The Tino Standard Report post Posted February 23, 2003 Somebody in the old thread mentioned having the field getting chewed up during bad weather. Here's one that goes a step further... Over the course of the season, have a field get progressively worse looking (especially Cincinnati... I think they have Carl Spackler as their head groundskeeper). In the last few weeks, have new-looking grass down the middle of the field between the hash marks, where it has been "re-sodded". They already have the baseball infields just right in the stadiums that have two sports, so this wouldn't be too much of a stretch. Edit: Oh, and one more thing... Guest Lethargic Report post Posted February 24, 2003 I wish you could create a team and put it into the league as an expansion team. Have an expansion draft and everything. Start off with total chumps and try to build your team up over the years. I know Madden did that a year ago because of the Texans but then they took it out. I'd like to see that in for good.
