How can I "Update" my Computer?

Sometimes I look at my Computer and I feel like it's old. Programs that haven't been updated in months, etc....

 

Is there anything I can do to update everything ?

 

I'm looking to update my AIM, Windows Media Player, EVERYTHING!

You could go to the Windows website and start from there, perhaps.

Windowsupdate.com - go there, let it scan your computer, download everything

 

CNET used to have a service called "Catchup" that scanned all of your non-Microsoft programs for updates, but it was discontinued for whatever reason

 

Fileforum.com is a GREAT place to look for updates for programs.

There also used to be a commercially available program called "Oil Change" that inventoried all your non-OS software and periodically looked for updates. It might still be available.
