Guest Ace309 Report post Posted February 23, 2003 As a competitor and referee, I'm a very big fan of amateur wrestling. Since I just graduated high school three years ago and I'm still active in the local scene, I know a lot of the younger guys who compete in the area. Last night, a high school near my home hosted the Western New York state qualifying tournament, and so I decided to go out and watch. When I got there, what did I see, but Dick Beyer sitting maskless in the front row. I've met him before in a capacity where he had to try to stay in character, and in any event that was before I had any conception of his pro work. In any event, he's very personable, and seemed to really appreciate being complimented on his work. He's apparently quite active behind the scenes here in Section VI, although he says that most of the people heworks with in an amateur capacity don't know much about his past. I was pretty thrilled, so thank you for indulging me. (Y)
Guest Jubuki Report post Posted February 23, 2003 See, now I REALLY hate you. The other people here, they just annoy me. You, I envy. You are my sworn foe from this day forward!
