Guest McLeary Report post Posted February 25, 2003 Thanks, MM. They look like Krokus or Accept or something, and I found it totally mind-blowing that the same guys are behind "War Ensemble" and "Angel of Death". Balls to the wall, man.
Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted February 25, 2003 Addressing the question on artists writing songs. Well, the song is equally as good no matter who writes it, however when the singer gets pretty much all the awards for it, when all she does is look nice in the video and lay down the vocals in the studio, it kind of diminishes the artist themself rather than the song. To ME, awards should go to the OVERALL best artists out there, and to ME, the best display of an artist is one that can sing/write/play the music all himself/herself or the band's self. Therefore someone like Norah Jones could still be up for Best female vocal performance, but not song, since she had little to do with the song itself, and if it wasn't her, there was probably a waiting list of pretty young girls ready and willing to sing it.
