Guest EQ Report post Posted February 24, 2003 Have any of you guys used Nero under Windows XP? I just downloaded the newest version, and it isn't reckognizing my CD Burner. I'm using an HP cd-writer (8200 series, external). Has anyone had the same problem? If so, how did you fix it. Can anyone recommend an alternate burning software? Guest Lethargic Report post Posted February 24, 2003 I use it with XP and I've had no problems. Do you have more than one burning programs? Guest DrTom Report post Posted March 11, 2003 If you can borrow a CD-R drive from someone for a day, try that one and see if you get the same problems. I know several people who have gotten Nero 5.5 to work flawlessly with XP, but we all have internal drives that are fairly new. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Guest EQ Report post Posted March 24, 2003 Well, I'm on a laptop, so I can't go for an internal drive. I don't know anyone else with an external. I think I'll just partition my drive and put windows 2000 on there just for burning.
