Guest Steve J. Rogers Posted March 19, 2002 Report Posted March 19, 2002 With Chris Jericho main eventing last night, that means that Kurt Angle once again regains the spot as the ONLY holder of the WWF World Title for more than a one week time span since the debut of Wrestlemania (which takes away Vince, Kane, and Backlund) NOT to have wrestled in the main event of Wrestlemania at some point in his career. Granted that takes in account Ric Flair and Diesel being co-main eventing but not the last one on the night, as well as the Ultimate Warrior winning the world belt in his only time up to the plate, but the fact remains that out of Flair, Diesel, Mankind, (yeah he wrestled the ME at WM as Mick Foley but that counts) Rock, Austin, Jericho, Triple H, Big Show, Hogan, Hart, HBK, Yokozuna, Savage, Angle, Warrior and Slaughter, Kurt is the only one never to Main Event Wrestlemania. BTW, here is the breakdown: Main eventing without ever winning the gold: Roddy Pipper Paul Orndorff Mr. T King Kong Bundy Ted DiBiase Lex Luger (unless I'm wrong I think both Yoko matches were considered MEs) Lawrence Taylor Bam Bam Bigelow Main eventing before winning the gold, or winning the gold that night: Andre The Giant Randy Savage Ultimate Warrior Sid Justice/Pyscho Sid Yokozuna Shawn Michaels Stone Cold Steve Austin Main eventing after having once won the gold, or are wearing the gold for the first time main eventing Hulk Hogan Sgt. Slaughter Ric Flair Bret Hart Diesel Undertaker The Rock Triple H The Big Show Mankind/Mick Foley Chris Jericho 26 guys, and not ONE Olympic Hero. That is true, it's also a DISGRACE, and thats true, THATS #### TRUE! Steve
