Guest Redhawk Report post Posted February 25, 2003 The list is pretty big, but who besides Kobe and Shaq are the League's best pair of teammates? Paul Pierce and Antoine Walker (Celtics) Dirk Nowitski and Steve Nash (Mavs) Rip Hamilton and Ben Wallace (Pistons) Gilbert Arenas and Antawn Jamison (Warriors) Yao Ming and Steve Francis (Rockets) Jermaine O'Neal and Reggie Miller (Pacers) Elton Brand and Lamar Odom (Clippers) Kevin Garnett and Wally Sczerbiak (T-Wolves) Jason Kidd and Kenyon Martin (Nets) Allen Houston and Latrell Sprewell (Knicks) Tracy McGrady and Grant Hill (Magic) Stephon Marbury and Shawn Marion (Suns) Rasheed Wallace and Bonzi Wells (Blazers) Chris Webber and Mike Bibby (Kings) Tim Duncan and David Robinson (Spurs) Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis (Sonics) Karl Malone and John Stockton (Jazz) Michael Jordan and Jerry Stackhouse (Wizards) Jason Williams and Pau Gaso (Grizzlies)
Guest Lethargic Report post Posted February 25, 2003 How could it be anybody but Stockton and Malone? They've been beating people for 300 years now and they're still doing it.
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted February 25, 2003 Over history, Stockton and Malone might be the best duo ever. But this year, neither Stockton or Malone even made the All-Star team. So I wouldn't say they're the best duo right now.

Guest kingkamala Report post Posted February 25, 2003 Pierce and Walker, they basically carry the team on their backs and this is coming from a Celtics fan. There's no other player on the Celtics that's more then slightly above average. The Cs don't even have that many solid roleplayers. DAMN YOU VIN BAKER FOR CLOGGING UP THE CAP SPACE! Guest The Czech Republic Report post Posted February 25, 2003 How could it be anybody but Stockton and Malone? They've been beating people for 300 years now and they're still doing it. Rings? In which case Jordan/Pippen > Stockton/Malone Over in the NHL I'd say Robitaille/Gretzky/Kurri was the best trio
Guest razazteca Report post Posted February 26, 2003 This year its been Duncan/Parker who has been producing as Robinson has been injuried this year, but is ready for the playoffs. Ditto on the Magic team as Grant Hill has been a gimp the whole time while visiting Disney World.
Guest cartman Report post Posted February 26, 2003 Pierce/Walker by far. Ass was said ealier they ARE THE TEAM by themselves basically. I can't wait til friday when I get to my first Celtics game EVER!
Guest The Electrifyer Report post Posted February 26, 2003 At this time, I'd give it to Nash and Nowinksi.
moral suasion 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2003 KG and Wally. KG is the most talented player in the league. He has a double double in almost every game this season, usually 30+ points and 15+ rebs. No defender can stop him. And he is a SMART player. Since Wally has come back from his toe injury the wolves have been the hottest team in the NBA. He puts in 20+ points per game himself. The wolves have the best homecourt in the game and have gone from 8th to 4th in the crowded western conference.
Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted February 26, 2003 Please remove Jason Williams from the list. Gasol and Miller are better choices. Walker and Pierce are the best. Followed by Wally and KG.
Guest Still Fly Report post Posted February 26, 2003 Right Now: Pierce and Walker. Simply put they are the Celtics A duo to look out for: Areneas and Richardson. If the the Warriors can keep these two and keep Antwan Jamison they will make the playoffs next year
Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted February 26, 2003 Dallas has the best Trio in the league. KG and Wally are close to Walker and Pierce. KG is the best of the 4, and you can make a case that Wally is just has good as Walker. They do have Rasho who is a Top 10 Center in the league.
Guest starvenger Report post Posted February 26, 2003 Off of your list, probably Nash/Nowitski. followed by Pierce and Walker. Garnett, McGrady, Kidd and Duncan are all guys who can carry the team themselves (and not coincidentally all MVP candidates) so a "teammate" is just kinda there like how Brent Gretzky is there for the "highest scoring siblings" record in the NHL. Guest gthureson Report post Posted February 26, 2003 Brent actually cracked an NHL lineup for a couple of games? I thought he was like Keith and toiled in the IHL and AHL his entire pro career.
Guest starvenger Report post Posted February 26, 2003 Brent actually cracked an NHL lineup for a couple of games? I thought he was like Keith and toiled in the IHL and AHL his entire pro career. He was with the Lightning for a few games. Of course you could contend that until this year they WERE a minor league team, but that's neither here nor there... Guest Sassquatch Report post Posted February 26, 2003 I despise the Celtics with a passion but Pierce and Walker are the next best duo in the NBA today.
Guest Lethargic Report post Posted February 26, 2003 I don't get the Pierce/Walker thing. Pierce is good but Walker? He's an idiot. Just another power forward that's always playing out of position and chucking brick after brick from the three point line. Put a real PF on that team to duo with Pierce and then you're talking and they'd actually have a chance of being more than a mediocre team.
