Guest SP-1 Report post Posted February 25, 2003 Okay. So I'd like to cut together a "trailer" for a project I'm working on using footage from some other movies and such. Is there something out there that can capture DVD clips, and something to edit them together with? The process I'd have to use otherwise involves a video camera, lots of painstaking pausing of recording, and switching the audio from another device into the input when I transfer the cut footage to video to have the right song over the footage. I'd rather just capture and edit it together on here if I can. Any tips? Advice on programs to go looking for?
Guest Lethargic Report post Posted February 26, 2003 I have no idea how to capture from a DVD. But I use Adobe Premiere for all my editing.

Guest SP-1 Report post Posted February 26, 2003 You stole my line, bitch. Shut it. Thanks, lethargic. If I find that I really dislike Ulead Video Studio, I'll investigate Adobe. I know Adobe is pretty trusted. I just need to figure out a way to capture DVD clips. It has to be possible.

It will do basicly all you want in terms of editing and the such. I'm sure there's a way to capture DVD into it also, same with Adobe.
Guest Chuck Woolery Report post Posted February 26, 2003 What you'd probably want, Spidah, is a bridge, and then to plug in a DVD player through that. That's what I do, anyway. And DO NOT, under ANY circumstances, buy a Dazzle product. Bad people, they are.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted February 26, 2003 VanSiclen31, Anoushka Shankar plays classical Indian music. I've never personaly heard her sing before, only play. I don't know much about it, but her father is a legend in that genre.
