Count out victories and other anomalies tonight.

Last time I remember a countout victory was a loooong time ago(in wrestling time), a victory over the Road Dogg by Rikishi on Raw about a year and nine months ago. Dogg bailed after getting the stinkface. The crowd was cheesed, much as tonight's crowd was.

Paul Heyman with Brock Lesnar: The return of the manager to Professional Wrestling. About time. Lesnar goes to Flair's Raw, where managers and other old-school elements of wrestling that WORK (read: aren't just there for nostalgia) will thrive.

Shoot Comments Abound: Gee, it's as if the WWF just started listening to people overnight, as it seemed no one was a friend of a McMahon tonight. Maybe they could just give me one minute of Steph a week, just to look at her, since I can't stand hearing her talk.

DDP forcing Christian back into his match: DDP threw Christian to the lion. I laughed at this when I thought of it.

That's my piece.

The last countout in the WWF was either Edge-Test on Heat or Rock-Storm on Raw.

And DDP had the smile when he wheeled Christian back in. The smile sold the whole booking.

Yeah, that ending was really really odd. The ref's earipiece was falling out or something and he looked really stunned, too.  Weird.

Hogan & Rock were probably supposed to win and Hall & Nash refused to job.

The countout anti-finish at the end of a promo-heavy show suprised me, too.

Then again, it is Montreal, so I guess they had to have something in the realm of screw, so a screwy ending fit the bill.

I found it weird that in a show the WWF was obviously trying to make a big deal out of, 2/4 of the main event walk away leaving a countout victory for Hogan and Rock.  Really strange ending there.
