Would you draft Willis McGahee?

But generally, you lose a lot when you have a serious knee injury

Not really. At least, not anymore. Medical science has advanced to the point that injuries which used to end careers now only interrupt them. Knee reconstruction costs a player about a year of recoery and rehab, and his first year back will typically be a little below par. The second year back, though, it's full speed ahead. Look at pitchers in baseball: a guy like Kerry Wood can have tendon transplant surgery while his career is still young, and be as good as ever two years later. You have to *seriously* screw up your body to be at the point where a doctor can't have you back on the field.

I'd take a flyer on McGahee, but not before the 3rd round. The first two rounds are too important, and I think most teams will feel the same way. I'd expect him to go in the 3rd-4th rounds and sign an incentive-laden contract.
