Guest Lethargic Report post Posted February 27, 2003 I posted this elsewhere so I figured I might as well post it here as well in case 1 or 2 people are interested. The new P.F.D. CD is finished and thanks to Flack, I can finally put it up for you guys not to listen to. It's all cover songs this time. I just wanted to record something while I was on crutches and couldn't really do anything else. Since Guns and Roses did the Spaghetti Inicident, I decided to do The Pancake Incident. It's mostly punk covers with a few other things thrown in. Some of the songs came off good, some came off....funny (such as the Rage Against the Machine song and My Michelle), so either way there is something there. Plus, I only did a rough mix. There are a few problems but there wasn't nothing catastrophic that made me remix it all. That's punk rock right? Most of them came out ok musically, it's when vocals come up that everything goes to hell. Track list: 1. Bloodstains 2. I Got A Right 3. Sonic Reducer 4. Bombtrack 5. Baby Baby 6. My Michelle 7. Degenerated 8. Did You No Wrong 9. My Sharona 10. Who Needs Girls? 11. Stealing People's Mail 12. Jail Break 13. Highest Trails Above 14. Beat My Head 15. Burn Baby Burn 16. Fiction Romance 17. The Freaks Come Out At Night Click here to check it out.
Guest Renegade Report post Posted February 27, 2003 Pretty dencent songs, although I really think Bloodstains could have been much better, the vocals don't really hit any peaks even though the intruments were dead on.
Guest Respect The 'Taker Report post Posted February 28, 2003 I don't understand covering songs, why do something that someone else does so much better? I'm sure your original stuff is a lot better. UYI P.S GNR owns, Banky is a donkey-fucking wanker and I'm cool

UYI P.S GNR owns, Banky is a donkey-fucking wanker and I'm cool Because it's fun to do covers sometimes and I just wanted something fun and easy to do. I didn't have a lot of new material to record while I was crippled so I just threw this stuff together. My last original CD is up there as well. I didn't mention that cause I think it really sucked except for maybe one or two songs. I haven't listened to it since I recorded it really.
Guest Respect The 'Taker Report post Posted February 28, 2003 Well i think i came across the wrong way, i mean Guns N' Roses STARTED with a cover LP - Live! Like a Suicide, and look where they went afterwards. Do you write the songs? Or is it a group effort?

Like a Suicide, and look where they went afterwards. Do you write the songs? Or is it a group effort? Yeah, since I'm the only person in the "band" I write everything. haha The band is more of a joke than anything else. I have a few different "bands" I use to play my various styles. PFD is sorta like my 80's rock band where 90% of the songs are about rocking or partying or screwing (it was supposed to be a nu-metal rap/rock band parody which is why it's called PFD, I discovered I couldn't really write that crap). Red Skeletons is my horror-punk band. Crap like that. I gave up on real bands after years of trying to find a drummer. Screw em, I'll just do it all myself. Guest swan Report post Posted February 28, 2003 Are you planning on marketing it at all? I found it cool.
Guest Respect The 'Taker Report post Posted March 1, 2003 Red Skeletons is a pretty kick-ass name, i like that. I'm in the same situation with the song writing, i do all of it. However i've stuck with the same band for the past 6 months or so, and we seem to do okay. UYI
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted March 1, 2003 Wow. The talent is there... at least I hear it in "My Michelle". Although, the vocals in the song killed me.
