David Blazenwing 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2003 More or less what my topic said... do WCW DVDs of thier PPVs exist? And if they do, where can I find them? I own Slamboree '99 on VHS, and everywhere I've gone actually only has ECW and WWE... where can I even find WCW vhs?
Guest franchise632 Report post Posted February 27, 2003 I dont know of any WCW DVD's of any kind. Although the UK may have them. They seem to have so many other things we dont when it comes to DVD releases. As far as finding WCW VHS. I dont think there have been any mass market VHS for retail releases since back when they were doing the best of series and wrestler profile videos. I talked to some video store people back in '00 or so and was told they werent getting the new WCW ppv's because they were very over priced and were not renting well to begin with. Your only real shot would probably be Ebay or a video store going out of buisness or selling off there wrestling tapes. Some dealers or random people may have masters for sale. I think i probably have a few laying around, not much of anything though im sure. Also with Turner HE being the video distrb. when the company was bought out by WWE all tapes would fall under WWE and we all know how release of old footage is going. Hope this is a help to you. If you want me to see i have anything let me know.

Guest Karnage Report post Posted February 28, 2003 The closest thing to WCW PPVs on DVD are WCW PPVs on VCD. I saw quite a few of them on Ebay.
David Blazenwing 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2003 ah i c Well, that's a bummer. Franchise632, I bought Slamboree from a Blockbuster near my house for $6.99 (used, obviously). They actually had two in stock they were selling and I bought one, then went back to get the other a week later for a friend and it was gone. They've also had a Kevin Nash bio tape and a Goldberg bio tape on sale there in the past, but they sold those before I could get them. I did buy the Bret Hart "Wrestling With Shadows" documantary there, though... very, very good. If you've never seen it, get it. I've seen it on sale at Suncoast, it covers the last year of his WWF career up through SS '
Guest BobBacklundRules Report post Posted March 2, 2003 A Video Update store near my house went out of business and became Movie Gallery, so they were selling all the old videos with a buy 2 get 1 free deal. I got Uncensored 99, Great American Bash 99, Souled Out 00, SuperBrawl 00, Spring Stampede 00, and Summerslam 99. The whole package was only $12, so about $2 a tape. And if I get greedy, I can go back and get some more that I didn't get the first time.
