Okay, this is taken from tvtome.com's episode guide for both Buffy and Angel finales and apparantly Cordy (the real Cordy, not the current Cordy) gets a vision of the First in Sunnydale and the ENTIRE Angel gang heads down there (the title of the episode is "Road Trip") Then accordingly the entire regular cast of Angel will be on Buffy's finale. All of them. Angel, Cordellia, Wesley, Gunn, Fred, Connor and Lorne.

 

Now this would irk me if I was a Buffy fan and not really a fan of the show Angel for whatever reason. Now given characters have crossed over (well actually since Angel started, only the title character has crossed over, its been mostly Buffy characters (Willow, Harmony, Drusilla, Darla, Faith, Spike, Oz, The Master, Wesley, Cordellia, Angel and Buffy comprise that list) appearing on Angel) but the shows are seperate shows and really shouldn't be THAT overlapping even for Buffy's grand finale.

 

Of course poll any Buffy fan whom they'd want to appear in the series finale and Angel and Cordellia top that list (probably Faith, Oz and Giles also round up that top 5) so no doubt they should be there. And a small case could be made for Wesley being there, small but it could be made. But why on earth would any Buffy fan want precious time in the final episode being taken up for Connor, Gunn, Fred and Lorne to have something to do? Admire the scenic Sunnydale countryside?

 

I'll give you that if it was a two hour finale I could see room for them, but this is just a single hour and there seems to be too much going on with all the Angel characters taking up space

They are going to war.

 

The more people the better off they are.

 

Point 1: If Sunnydale was having an apocalypse Angel would certainly HAVE to go.

 

Point 2: If it's a war...you kind of need troops.

 

I think the last episode is going to be a 45 minute war where alot of people get offed. And then the last segment will be a reflection and goodbye.

Buffy: OMG, Angel, Cordy, Wes.... Who's the black dude?

 

Gunn: I'm-

 

Wes: He's Charles Gunn, the street wise brawn of Angel investigations. He's no nonsense, quick on his feet and can handle himself quite well.

 

Gunn: Thank you Wes, I could hav-

 

Angel: He could have handled that himself Wes. Gunn is a very integral member of our organization, and I am proud to have him as a partner...and it I may say...a friend... He can speak for himself...

 

Wes: Thanks Angel, It feels goo-

 

Cordy: It does feel good to be appreciated Charles - but that's not the issue at hand.

 

Gunn: I know, the issue at h-

 

Wes: Yes, the issue at hand is the first. That devilish incarnation of pure evil. Oh yes, I know of him all right - I, a former watcher, turned Rogue Demon Hunter, turned Book Monkey, turned Badass Rebel with a darkside turned pseudo Book Monkey.. Anyways, I know this first well.

 

Angel: Yes, you do Wes. And I, Angel - tortured Soul wondering throughout life trying to be the champion that I am - friend of man, enemy of evil - I am a walking contradiction, part fact, part fiction, I'm back in Sunnydale to make sure that my first... my only love stays safe.

 

Cordy: Only? What about me? Cordellia Chase, former superficial, brainless, foil to Buffy turned semi-friend of the inner circle of slaying, turned aspiring actress in LA, turned secretary at Angel investigations, turned reluctant vision carrier and link to the powers that be, turned willing vision carrier so I could be part of something special, something right, something good, turned selfless champion, turned to all knowing higher power, turned amnesic dolt, turned back to selfless champion, turned into evil lovergirl to Angelus (speculation), turned back into good selfless champion once more... Whew, that's character development my friends *smiles, winks*"

 

Fred: And I am Fred, the once warped college girl trapped in a hell dimention turned quirky girl who never leaves room, turned useful brainiac, turned into a quasi-slutty sex kitten, turned into a conflicted lass who wants clearity but can't quite find it... And then there's Charles..

 

Gunn: Yeah, I'm -

 

Angel: He's Gunn, we've already talked about him...

 

Buffy: Cool.

 

Willow: Cool.

 

Xander: Cool.

 

Dawn: Cool.

 

White Potential Slayer: Cool.

 

Black Potential Slayer: Now wai-

 

Kennedy: Yeah, wait a second, what about you Angel?

 

Angel: Oh me?
