Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted March 1, 2003 Can't disagree with that. If that particular RAW hadn't been in Edmonton I doubt greatly that Benoit would have came back that night. However, it's too much to assume that he wouldn't have came back as a surprise in a later show, or that he would get a video package when he was cleared to wrestle. I still don't get the connection to HHH though, but you are right in that his return popped a rating for the MSG RAW *only*. The following shows went right back to the usual numbers. It would have been similar to HHH's in that Benoits passion, his determination, his (boy, this sounds really familiar...) blah blah blah... would have been highlighted. HHH feels that it would be a threat to him and his reputation of being 'the game' (aka, living and breathing the business) if someone else had a great passion for wrestling.
