If the Dems do nominate Al Sharpton, and he loses, it would still help them in the long run. The Dems would get more of the so-called "black" (I hate using terms like "black" and "white" in refernces to race) in the next election (and many elections after). It's all a matter of them willing to sacrifice four more years to George W.

Sharpton is fucking nuts. I don't thik he'll draw any more of the black vote than the Dems already have and his racist policies will turn off the moderate white Dems.

 

The Dems really need to purge their party of these clowns like Sharpton, Jackson, Mosley-Brown, Ted Kennedy, Clinton and start over with people who can be trusted.

 

A big problem I have with the Democrats is that I just don't believe that they really mean what they say. Why would a guy who was extremely outspoken against the Vietnam War, be in favor of the war in Iraq? Well I doubt Kerry is really in favor of it, he's just in favor of trying to get votes. At least Sharpton doesn't comprimise his true beliefs, no matter how outlandish and wrong they may be. I believe what he says to be what he really believes. There's the problem. Does anyone think that Bush is not in favor of tax cuts? Or the war in Iraq? The Dem candidates keep flip-flopping on the issues, Lieberman is amongst teh worst. As Dennis Miller said on Donahue, (paraohrased) "Lieberman ALMOST did a lot things, almost doesn't count."

Thomas Jefferson was an atheist. He liked the Bible but only the teachings. He even edited out the supernatural stuff. True story.

 

Actually he was a diest. They believe in God, but don't believe he has a hand in our daily life. Jefferson didn't believe in parayer or church.

Lieberman gives me the creeps. I swear he looks exactly like the Emperor from Star Wars ... and I think if he becomes president, he might do away with Christmas.

There's a pretty good chance I'll vote for the Democrat in the next election, especially if Ashcroft is still AG. But if Lieberman gets the nomination, I'm voting for Bush.

I'm thinking of becoming a Libertarian myself. They never win, but I like their stance on social and economic issues. I'm a leftist on social issues but don't agree with their economic policies. I do, however, come from a long-family of Democrats, though. Eh, whatever.

They can get it above 110 % easy. Knowing the Democrats and their rampant voter fraud, I wouldn't be surprised if black people from beyond the grave are already voting.
