Guest Kinetic Report post Posted March 1, 2003 My favorite albums to drive to (which is the only way I can make this topic relevant to me) are Blonde on Blonde, London Calling, Get Happy!!, and Aquemini. These are good to drive to because: 1.) They're long, and 2.) Every song is good.

Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted March 3, 2003 I like to blare the weirdest fucking shit I can find, just so people go "what the fuck was that?" My current favorites for this purpose are as follows: The Residents (doesn't get much weirder) Early Frank Zappa Scraping Foetus off the Wheel Frontline Assembly Tribes of Neurot Sometimes I like something with more of a driving beat, and for that, I usually hit up some Clutch. Guest Austin3164life Report post Posted March 3, 2003 L.A. Woman from the Doors always gets me pumped up even if I have to drive to the local corner store or to New York City. Excellent from beginning to end. "Light My Fire" is a good song to play right when you start a Road Trip. Spanish Castle Magic from Jimi Hendrix gets me going on the road as well. Guest Spicy McHaggis Report post Posted March 6, 2003 Open Road song - Eve 6 Roadhouse Blues- Doors Two STep (Listener Supported ) - Dave Matthews Blister in the Sun - Violent Femmes Down With Disease- Phish Well, any Dave works for me. Overall, I'd pick Crash... So Much To Say, Two Step, Too Much, Drive In, and Tripping Billies... kick ass. I'd go for Essential Santana and Bob Marley's Legend also. A couple tracks off the most recent Phish--Round Room, Mexican Cousin, and Seven--are awesome. For an easy listenin drive, I'd pick Jack Johnson's Brushfire Fairytales or James Taylor's October Road.
