Where's Sean O'Haire?

He's basically being a instigator.

Look where that got Just Joe.

Sean O'Haire hasn't been on television lately, but his push has not been forgotten. WWE is working on a new series of vignettes for him and they will start very soon, maybe even tonight.

Maybe they realized he still can't get it done in the ring, hence all the dark matches.

Maybe, but you DO realize how bad you have to suck for the WWE to have complaints about it, right? Even Sean's worst matches in WCW weren't that bad.

Sure, but if they're planning such a high-profile push, complete with expensive video packages, they should get a guy whose wrestling acumen matches the effort they're putting into his push.

I know WW_ isn't exactly known for following common sense, but perhaps this is one of the few moments of clarity they are capable of.

*Ahem* Scott Steiner? Nathan Jones?

You're forgetting JR's Second Rule of Kinetic Energy:

Mass X Inertia = Potential $

Hoss Mass > Stud Mass

Ergo, Potential Hoss $ > Potential Stud $

That's not disproving my assumption that O'Haire isn't being kept from wrestling on TV because his matches suck.

The writers probably just ran out of ideas after only a few weeks of the gimmick, that sounds about right for the WWE's current group of hacks.

This is the obvious answer. SOH's gimmick is pretty entertaining and if written right could be dynamite in the WWE. However, I do not mind the fact that he is not on TV right now, because if he was and the writers were only coming up with crap for him and not developing his character then it would be an exercise in futility anyways.

The Radical has spoken.

What I'm saying is that they're more willing to keep pushing Vince's talentless monsters in all their mesomorphic glory, and hold back those who are equally void of talent but less "mass-culine". They can overlook Nathan Jones' complete lack of wrestling ability because he looks good on TV (and satisfies Vince's muscle fetish). SOH cannot overcome the bulk factor to mask his mat suckitude, hence wrestling in dark matches and such.

Sure, SOH's worst match might be Steiner or Jones' best, but in the land of giants, size unfortunately trumps talent nine times out of eight.

So your theory is that Sean O'Haire is too small at something like 6'5'' and 270 pounds? I think you might want to rethink that theory sport.

As an edit, I went to see what his measurements actually were by going to wwe.com and all, but he's not listed under either brand (unless I'm completely blind) and Brian Kendrick, who debuted around the same time, at least has his name on there but no info.

Plus, they have no intentions of putting O'Haire on the WM PPV, so there is no reason to debut him and give him a "Big Push" at this moment.

The usual upper-card hosses are over 7 ft and 300 lbs. Steiner overcomes this via reputation and the grotesque sideshow-freak nature of his arms.

O'Haire is a Test-in-waiting.

I was wondering why my post kept going away...

Anyway... I thought the character was cool, regardless of his previous match quality. Granted, "I'm not telling you something you don't already know" isn't the most flexible cath phrase, but it could have it's moments.

Only problem I had with the whole gimmick is how would he work it into a match? I'm no promoter but I think it would be hard to work a fued around his new gimmick, unless someone like Spanky saw he was messing with him to the point he wanted revenge.

Oh well...

It's a combination of his matches sucking and him not being able to do the gimmick well at all on TV.
