Conspiracy_Victim Posted March 2, 2003 Report Posted March 2, 2003 I think it's understood that Morgan dies at the end of Glory. Shoot just about EVERYONE dies at the end of Glory. Freeman, Broderick, Washington, Elwes.. He's standing in the front ranks of the charging men right into a cannon fusillade, so I doubt too many got away from it. I don't remember if you see him in the slow pullback of the grave trench, but I'd be willing to bet that he didn't make it out in one piece.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted March 2, 2003 Report Posted March 2, 2003 How did Freeman die in The Sum Of All Fears ?
Guest the pinjockey Posted March 2, 2003 Report Posted March 2, 2003 IIRC when the bomb goes off the car that Freeman is in gets thrown around and he dies from the effects of that.
Guest Anglesault Posted March 2, 2003 Report Posted March 2, 2003 How did Freeman die in The Sum Of All Fears ? The bomb, basically. He doesn't die right away though.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted March 2, 2003 Report Posted March 2, 2003 Clooney died in the Perfect Storm.
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Posted March 2, 2003 Report Posted March 2, 2003 Brad Pitt died in Fight Club. Brendan Fraser sort of died in both Monkeybone and Bedazzled... he came back both times, so I don't know. As for Will Smith, I haven't actually seen the movie, but wasn't he a ghost in the Legend of Bagger Vance?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted March 2, 2003 Report Posted March 2, 2003 Bagger Vance is as close as you'll come.
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted March 2, 2003 Report Posted March 2, 2003 What aboot Six Degrees of Seperation? Fresh Prince die in that?
Guest Zero_Cool Posted March 2, 2003 Report Posted March 2, 2003 ..I think he just stabbed himself in that one. Anybody have an idea about Chevy Chase?
Guest spiny norman Posted March 2, 2003 Report Posted March 2, 2003 Brendan Fraser died dead in Quiet American. And I'm not spoiling, it's revealed in the opening scene, just like Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge!
Guest Vern Gagne Posted March 2, 2003 Report Posted March 2, 2003 Clooney died in the Perfect Storm. spoiler. since movie is still in theatres. ...he also dies in Confessions of a Dangerous Mind
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Posted March 2, 2003 Report Posted March 2, 2003 Chevy Chase died in Dirty Work.
Guest Steve J. Rogers Posted March 2, 2003 Report Posted March 2, 2003 ..I think he just stabbed himself in that one. Anybody have an idea about Chevy Chase? I forget if its mentioned in the movie, but Smith's character hangs himself in prison with the T-shirt that Stockard Channing's character gives him. Steve
Guest Ravenbomb Posted March 2, 2003 Report Posted March 2, 2003 Brad Pitt dying in Fight Club is questionable at best, since he never really existed in the first place. Since he existed in Ed Norton's mind, and Norton didn't die, it stands to reason that Brad Pitt didn't actually die in Fight Club.
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Posted March 3, 2003 Report Posted March 3, 2003 Tyler was an independant entity in Fight Club, and as such, he was capable of death. That side of Jack's mind died, and when it did, Tyler died too. I still count that. But in any case, the point is moot, as Brad also died in Kalifornia.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted March 3, 2003 Report Posted March 3, 2003 I haven't seen Road to Perdition so thanks on that. I haven't seen Deliverance in years, so that was just me remembering wrong, sorry. I can't think of anything else where Burt Reynolds dies off the top of my head then. Paul Newman is not shown or mentioned to be dead in Cool Hand Luke. I said that. He's shot in the neck, but is still alive when they cart him away and they explicitely say they're taking him to the hospital. Dragline talks about in a revered tone right at the end, but they never say he dies. It's ambiguous at best.

At the VERY end of the movie George Kennedy's character is sitting around playing cards with the other guy's telling how Luke passed with a smile on his face.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted March 3, 2003 Report Posted March 3, 2003 Matthew Broderick? Ethan Supplee? Billy Connely?
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted March 3, 2003 Report Posted March 3, 2003 As mentioned before Matthew Broderick and just about everybody else died in Glory.
HurriShane Posted March 3, 2003 Report Posted March 3, 2003 I don't think that Tom Green has ever died in a movie.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted March 3, 2003 Report Posted March 3, 2003 I don't think that Tom Green has ever died in a movie. I don't think Tom Green's been in enough movies to matter.
Guest Sandman9000 Posted March 3, 2003 Report Posted March 3, 2003 Bruce Lee? Chow Yun-Fat? (edit- Killers, how the fuck could I forget that after seeing it THIS WEEKEND~?)
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Posted March 3, 2003 Report Posted March 3, 2003 Sandler died like 10 times in Little Nicky.
Guest Gamengiri2002 Posted March 3, 2003 Report Posted March 3, 2003 I'm going back to the well here to answer an earlier post... Richard Dreyfuss eats it in Dillinger Also I could have swore that some passing comment was made at the end of American History X that Ethan Suplee and Stacey Keacj's characters weren't expected to make it. As for guys who make it... I don't really know. On a long enough time line every actor seems to seek out a death scene.
Guest Mattdotcom Posted March 4, 2003 Report Posted March 4, 2003 Harrison Ford dies in that Mosquito Coast movie I've never seen. I caught the ending twice and his kid goes "But I don't want Dad to die." I'll assume he dies after the camera pans up.
