Guest Black Tiger Posted March 1, 2003 Report Posted March 1, 2003 In their first one on one match in nearly three years. Kenta Kobashi beat Mitsuharu Misawa for the GHC Title. With the shape Kobashi is in right now, there is no way that he holds the title for an extended amount of time. He'll probably get a couple title defenses in, then job it to NOAH's next ace. Who that would be is anyone's guess because aside from Misawa, Taue, Kobashi, and Akiyama. NOAH has no real big draws, Takayama works NJPW tours, so he won't be around full time. Omori left NOAH, and Akiyama flopped as the ace due to how he was booked.
Guest TheGame2705 Posted March 1, 2003 Report Posted March 1, 2003 You're guess is as good as mine. We talked yesterday and both thought Kobashi wouldn't win cuz he was so broken down. But hey I guess anything in NOAH can happen within reasonable terms.
