Yes,I know I said this would be up a few months ago but I have been really busy, so here ya go!!!

 

WCW Clash of the Champions XVIII

WCW Clash of the Champions XVIII, Announcers:Jim Ross and Tony. Host: Missy Hyatt and Eric Bischoff Schivane.January 21,1992 From: Kansas Expo Center Pavilion,Topeka,Kansas

-Welcome everyone to the first rant on RanstleMania II!!!

 

-This is WCW's first major event of 1992.A year that had more good than bad events.

 

-The show begins with Jim Ross and Tony Schivanne talking about tonight's matches and they mention there will be some big announcements.To be continued.

 

-Eric Bischoff and Missy Hyatt also talk tonight's matches and some big announcements.Once again to be continued.

 

-Opening Match:Mr.Hughes&Big Van Vader(w/Harley Race)Vs.Steiner Brothers:We begin with Scott Steiner and Mr. Hughes and Scott Steiner has the early advantage. Hughes fights back but Scott Steiner fights back and take momentum back.Hughes' is back in control and all four men are in and Vader and Hughe's are in control but the Steiners come back and they are now in control.Rick Steiner and Big Van Vader are in and Big Van Vader is manhandling Rick Steiner.Vader is still in control but Rick Steiner fights back and hits with a Steinerline but Vader is once again in control of thi match.Vader goes to the top rope but Rick Steiner catches him with a belly to belly supeplex.Scott Steiner is in and he has control of the match but Vader hits with a powerslam and he is in control of the match.Mr.Hughes is in and he had the momentum but Scott Steiner fought back and tags in Rick Steiner and Rick Steiner hits Mr.Hughes with a Bullgdog and he covers him and he gets the 3 count.Not bad,**.

 

-Young Pistol Tracy&The Taylor Made Man Vs.Flyin' Brian&Marcus Bagwell:We begin with The Taylor Made Man and Flyin' Brian and neither man can get an advantage.Flyin' Brian has the momentum but The Taylor Made Man fights back.Flyin' Brian once again is in control of the match and he tags in Marcus Bagwell and all four men are in and Flyin' Brian and Marcus Bagwell are in control of the match.Taylor tags in Smothers and Bagwell goes after The Taylor Made Man and Young Pistol Tracy takes the advantage in match.Smothers with a 2 count and he pins in the Taylor Made Man who is controlling the match and he tags in Smothers.Smothers with a scoop slam but Bagwell comes back and 'Flyin Pillman is in their and he on a role!!!Pillman was controlling the match the referee gets distracted and Smothers and Taylor take control back in the match.Smothers in in there with Pilmman and Smothers is dominating and he tags in Taylor who goes for the quick pin and he gets a two count.Taylor tags in Smothers who is dominating but Pillman fights back and he tags in Bagwell who bluffs a move and Bagwell with a sunset flip and it is over,decent match.**1/2.

 

-They take a look at Jushin "Thunder" Liger!!!

 

-Richard Morton Vs.Johnny B.Badd:Before the match Johnny B.Badd does some BAAAAAAAAAAAD prematch antics!!!They tie up to begin and Richard Morton has the early advantage but Johnny B.Badd fights back and he has some momentum.Badd hits Morton from off the second turnbuckle.Morton fights back and he is dominating the match.Badd was tossed out of the ring but he comes back in and he is still being dominated by Morton.Badd fights back and he hits a powerslam and he goes for a pin and he gets a two count.Badd with a series of punches and he slams morton in the mat and they go back in forth with a few moves and Badd pins him and he gets the three count.That was really nothing big.*1/4.

 

-Eric Bischoff is interviewing Flyin' Brian and Johnny B.Badd and Eric Bischoff is trying to sign them both to WWE Raw alright not but Johnny B.Badd is getting on Eric Bischoff's nerves and then Flyin' Brian's nevers. Flyin' Brian eventually slaps Johnny B.Badd,well that was kind of intersting!!!

 

-Diamond Dallas Page Vs.P.N. News:Diamond Dall Page is in action and he stinks he has a worst work ethnic than that midget Dink, yo baby, yo baby, yo!!!They begin and they go back and forth and P.N. News is dominating but Diamond Dallas Page fights back and he has the momentum.Diamond Dalls Page is in control of this matchh but he tries to pick up P.N. News but he can not hold him but he is still in control of the match.P.N. News fights back and hits with a belly to belly supeplex followed by the Rap Master Splash, he covers him and it is over.That was nothing,DUD!!!

-This is a big moment,no I am serious.Tony Schivanne introduces a guy who had WCW's man in charge K. Allen Frye and he announces that there will be a WCW Title Match at WCW SuperBrawl II and then he announces that Jesse Ventura.Tony Schivanne announces that at WCW SuperBrawl II Lex Luger will defend the WCW Title against Sting.They show Lex Luger talking about the upcoming match at WCW SuperBrawl II.Sting signs the contract for the WCW Title Match and WCW SuperBrawl II and Sting yells about Lex Luger and then goes into the ring and poses and gets the crowd into.

 

-Falls Count Anywhere Match:Cactus Jack Vs."Heavy Metal" Van Hammer:They begin and "Heavy Metal" Van hammer is in control ans and he gets a couple of near falls but Cactus Jack fights back and he takes the advantage in the match.Both Cactus Jack and "Heavy Metal"Van Hammer are going at it outside of the ring and Cactus Jack is squeeling like it is nobody's business.Cactus Jack bluffs a sun set flip and he hurts himself. "Heavy Metal" Van Hammer takes the momentum in the match but Cactus Jack Fights back and he is in control of the match.Van Hammer with a powerslam on the ramp and he gets a two count.Cactus Jack is once again in control of the match.Cactus Jack looks like he is really in pain from that fall but he always looks like that.Van Hammer gets a near.Van Hammer throws Cactus Jack off the ramp.Cactus Jack actually fights back and he is in control of the match.They are fighting into the backstage area.They are outside at the Kansas ExpoCentre.They are right near a barn. Cacuts Jack and Van Hammer are fighting in a barn and Abdullah the Butcher is dressed as a big cowboy and he hits Van Hammer with a giant shovel by accident and Cactus Jack gets the three count.Abdullah the Butcher and Cactus Jack fight after the match and then Abdullah the Butcher puts Missy Hyatt in a tub of water.That was a pretty good match,***.

 

-The Fabulous Freebirds Vs.Big Josh&BradArmstrong:Before the match The Fabulous Freebirds sing their theme song and there is a video that goes with it,no joke!!!Michael P.S. Hayes tie up with Brad Armstrong to starting the match and they go back and forth.Michael P.S. Hayes has the advantage and he gets a two count and then he tags in Jimmy "Jam"Garvin who has the momentum but Brad Armstrong fights back and tags in Big Josh and he has the momentum but Jimmy "Jam"Garvin tags in Michael P.S. Hayes who is in control and then he tags back in Jimmy "Jam" Garvin who is in control of the match and Michael P.S. Hayes and Brad Armstrong are in.All 4 men are in and the Fabulous Freebirds get a double ddt and Michael P.S. Hayes with the cover and he gets the three count.Nothing big there,*1/2.

 

-Tony Schivanne talks about the Steiner Brothers which is followed by a Steiner Brothers' video package and then Tony Schivanne talks to the Steiner Brothers and Scott Steiner makes a comment which is actually really funny right now and that is "No more mister nice guy"which is hilarious to think about that since of what has happenend since this event took place.

 

-Thomas Rich Vs.Vinnie Vegas:I like Vinnie Vegas' theme music more than Diesel's theme music!!!The match begins with Vinnie Vegas in control of the match.Vinnie Vegas is just dominating the match and hits with a move called Snake Eye and it is over.That was nothing,DUD!!!

 

-Tony Schivanne talks to Paul E.Dangerously about the 6 man tag match and the tag team match!!!

 

-6 Man Tag Match:Arn Anderson, Beautiful Bobby&Larry Zybsko(W/Paul E.Dangerously)Vs.Dustin Rhodes, Ron Simmons&Barry Windham:We begin with Beautiful Bobby and Barry Windham.Beautiful Bobby has the advantage early in the match.Eaton with a superplex but Barry Windham fights back and he is in control.Barry Windham with a superplex of his own and Barry Windham with a cover and he gets a two count and all six are in and all three of the faces have figure fours on all 3 of the heels.Ron Simmons and Larry Zybsko are now in and Ron Simmons is in control of the match.Eaton is in and Ron Simmons is dominating.Larry Zybsko is in and Simmons gets a two count.Dustin Rhodes and Eaton are in.Eaton is control and Dustin Rhodes fight back and he is in control of the match and Rhodes with a lariat out onto the ramp.Barry Windham and Larry Zybsko are in and Barry Windham has the momentum and Eaton is in and Windham knocks him off the rope and Windham is going at it with Arn Anderson and Rhodes is in.Rhodes with the momentum but Eaton fights back and then Paul E.Dangerously hits him with the phone.Arn Anderson is now in control of the match and Anderson hits with a spinebuster and Anderson covers him twice and both times he got two counts and both men are down and Anderson covers him again and once again he got a two count.Eaton is in and he is in control of the match but Rhodes fights back and he is in control but Eaton tags in Arn Anderson and Arn Adnerson is in control of the match but Rhodes fights back and both men are down.Anderson tags in Windham and he is in there with Eaton and hits him with a couple of clotheslines!!!He covers and gets a two count.Windham and Eaton are in the ring and everyone else in the match are outside of the ring and Windham covers Eaton and he gets the three count!!!A pretty good match.****.

 

-Jim Ross says that Jesse Ventura will do the play by play with him for the tag team match and then he says that Bischoff is in the locker room with the faces from the the 6 Man Tag Match!!!

 

-Tony Schivanne talks to Dustin Rhodes, Ron Simmon and Barry Windham about the 6 Man Tag Match!!!

 

-Jim Ross and Jesse Ventura talk about the upcoming tag team match.

 

-"Stunning" Steve Austin&Rick Rude(W/Paul E.Dangerously)Vs.Ricky Steamboat&Sting:Rick Rude does his usually prematch antics!!!We begin with Ricky Steamboat and "Stunning"Steve Austin and Ricky Steamboat is in control of the match but "Stunning"Steve Austin fights back in he is in control of the match.Steamboat is dominating the match!!!Steamboat with a cover and he gets a two count and Steamboat with another cover and once again Steamboat gets a two count.Austin tags in Rick Rude who slaps Sting and Steamboat tags in Sting!!!Rick Rude is in control of the match but Sting fights back and Austin tries to interfere but Sting takes care of him and Sting is taking care of Rude and Steamboat comes in illegally but then Sting comes back in so it all works out which is pretty cool to see and the crowd gets into it but Rude comes back and he is in control and he tags in Austin.Sting and Austin are going back and forth but Austin is in control of the match and he covers Sting and he gets a two count and Rude is in and he is dominating the match and Sting is trying to tag in Steamboat but Rude stops that and he is continuing to dominate the match and Austin is in who is in control of the match but Sting tags in Steamboat and Steamboat is on a role.Steamboat covers Austin but the referee is distracting and Austin is in control of the match and he tags in Rude.Rude with a bodyslam and then tags in Austin but Steamboat is trying to fight back and he gets a two count and everyone who is in the match is in the ring and Sting and Austin are now going back and forth on the ramp and Austin goes back into the ring and Sting and Steamboat covered Austin and it is over.Rude with two Rude Awakening on Steamboat and Sting misses with a Stinger splash and Rude is whipping Steamboat with a belt and security guys are getting knocked out. A good match and some extra cirricular activity,***1/2.

 

-Jesse Ventura and Jim Ross talk about the tag team match and WCW SuperBrawl II.

 

Bottom Line:A very entertaining show with nothing too bad and anything that could have been was short,so an overall good show.

Alright I will admit I do not proofread and sometimes I feel it is typing to fast,one of my problems right now is that I feel I write the same things over and over again like he is dominating or he is in control and I can not break that habbit.

You write these in Word before you post, right? Take your time and read it over before you put it up.

 

Oh, and you put two spaces after the period when you make a new sentence. Makes it a LOT less jumbled.

IF not for the REALLY bad use of grammer, spelling etc. etc., It would have been a good review. But with all the mashing together I can't justify reading it all due to TOTAL lack of professional writing. Sorry for the zinging but it's not like i'm pulling this shit out of thin air, and finally some other people besides me are finally noticing. (Hence i'm not tearing everything apart like some people do, cause being a prick to someone may make them NOT want to post another review on here again.)

When I first started writing AOL gave me the same problem, so instead of posting the entire review on one page, I broke it down to 2 or 3 with a CONTINUE link on the bottom of each part. Just a tip.

You type it up in MS Word. Highlight all of it, hit COPY. Then open up where you usually type the review for Geocities, right click in the text box, hit PASTE.
