Next years wrestlemania x - 8

Firstly, I reckon the split will be an abortion as it is too complicated.  If there was 'brand confusion' during inVasion then whats gonna happen now.  

Vince will fight and defear Flair @ Summerslam / Survivo Series and reunite the company (mass cull of underused stars).

So its situation normal as Kurt Angle who has been a MASSIVE BASTARD all summer, defeats Triple H for the WWF Title at Summerslam.

Angle feuds with HHH, Austin & Benoit as the good guys and goes over CLEAN and HEEL - LIKE every time gaining HUGE HEAT for being a pick but slowly gaining the respect of the crowd for his strong performances.

(note: US crowds dont mind dickweeds if they can back it up, see Austin 97 - 98, Rock 99)

 

The Rock wins the Royal Rumble and goes after Angle in an intense feud.

 

WM X - 8 to be held in the Hoosier Dome, Indianapolis (super -dome and in mid - america to fit Angle's gimmick).

 

Rock goes over VERY narrowly to win the WWF title for the SEVENTH time ,but his first success at Wrestlemania.

Angle turns face over summer 2003 and is secured as a HUGE star.

 

Heel Triple H puts Edge over on the undercard.

Face Undertaker narrowly defeats a heel RVD.

Chris Jericho falls to Edge.

Austin beats Chris Benoit in a babyface match.

 

 

RVD:  Runs as IC champion for EVER and eventually gets SOOOOO cocky (Rock circa 1998) e turns heel.  Massive feud with Edge and they build eqch other up.  

Possible Austin feud.

I don't see the split ending so soon.

 

Of the top of my head, I'd expect something like:

 

Rock v Austin (rock as heel)

Hogan v HHH

Jericho v Booker

Angle v Benoit

RVD v Edge

UT killing someones momentum.

not to nitpick but would'nt it be WrestleMania X-9 next year

(unless that is what you ment to say) Other then that I could see some of the scenarios playing out over the course of this year.
