*problem* posts not appearing in thread

I just posted in the "word-association" thread in the General forum, and when I go back to the board menu it says I was the last one to post, but when I click on the last page it shows posts from December 2002.

 

Any reason?

 

*note* I did a search for all my posts and the page showed up with it, but I still don't know how to get there from the main board.

Same problem with OAOAST. our last page shows mid January, but if youm hit reply, you can see the last ten real posts.

Sort posts from "the beginning". I hope you know what I'm talking about (the pulldown menus at the bottom that say "sort posts by *whatever in decending/ascending order from the last *blank* days)

I tried that, and when I click on page 722 (the last one) I still get the first page of posts, no matter what combination I use of the drop-down options. Same goes for if I click page 1.

Yeah, I just had that same problem too when I posted in the OaOast. Ignore my advice.

I bumped it because the old posts that were lost on 6/19 (damn Australians) now appear. Unfortunately, my bumping post doesn't appear, nor do any of the replies.

I asked about this on the Invision support boards, and they said it was a "known issue". There's no workaround AFAFIK.

The same thing is happening to me in the 'what are you listening to..' thread in the music folder. The last post showing is from the end of Feb.

OK, I fixed the "What are you listening to" thread by splitting off the last post (not sure if this fixes it permanently). And this won't fix Word Association or the OAOAST, since they're too long.
