Guest teke184 Report post Posted March 3, 2003 I'm doing some research for a shoot I'm reviewing and Judge Jeff Jones' name came up. Tod Gordon was supposed to do an angle in 1999 or 2000 in which he'd replace Jones as Mike Awesome's manager. I'm pretty sure the reason why that almost happened had to do with a shady incident in which Jones slipped someone a roofie and they died from it. Can anyone tell me if I'm on the right track, along with some website documentation of the arrest? I've found it in the past but can't seem to find it at the moment. Heyman said if Jones spent half as much time getting better at getting his character over as he did worrying about his roster spot he would have been fine.
