Goldberg asking fans if he should join WWE

Recommended Posts

Guest FeArHaVoC

That's right, the Prima Donna is asking "his" fans if he should join WWE.

You can vote at

Goldberg Poll

If you voted "No," he gives you a e-mail address [email protected] to explain why you voted No.

I sent him a little e-mail from the bottom of my Heart

"WWE has enough Over paid, Ego driven, Has-beens who were never that good to begin with, there already!"

I voted 'unsure'. Now I'll be upfront when I say that Goldberg abused his power in WCW. He's responsible for ending the career of my favorite wrestler of all time Bret Hart. He was handed the world undeservingly.

With all that aside...he can benefit the WWE. I'm not saying put a world title on him. I'm not saying make him be the main event at WrestleMania. But if he can come in (preferably as a heel or at least turn him heel soon) and put over guys like Rob Van Dam, Kurt Angle, Booker T, Edge, or even Rey Mysterio Jr. - then I'm all for it.

I thought the best thing WCW ever did with Goldberg was turn him heel in 2000. He'll never be the underdog so at least make the fans cheer for his opponents who will be. The Nitro where Booker and Goldberg fought twice for the world title and Booker won the second via pinfall has to be one of the best episodes from the crap Russo era.

I voted yes, and voted for him to feud with HHH. Why? Because I never saw much of him in WCW, and we need a mark out moment. Sure, it would get old after a while, but I think it would be cool to see. And if he feuds with HHH, I'm sure that Goldberg will be a little stiff with him.... heh, I'd LOVE to see that.

Anyway, it's 87% YES at the moment. Pretty resounding. And the most popular man for Goldberg to feud with is Austin at 32%, followed by Rock and Lesnar at 19%.

Didn't he say that he didn't want to put over or work with any mid-card guys?

He said he only wanted to work with a few guys, Brock and Trips excluded, and that he didn't want to work with any mid-carders, specifically mentioning RVD.

Mr.Goldberg

I am just a lowly Wrestling fan, (Since 1986) But I think I understand the business at least as much as a fan outside the business could possibly understand it. Now you been asking your fans if they want you to go to WWE, obviously most of them do. The question is in my mind how do you want to come in?

From what I see of you in WCW I didn't much enjoy your work there. It seemed to me that WCW just handed you a job where you didn't have to sell or put over majority of the people you faced, (without a stungun that is) and you never ever lose, and everyone must sell or be effectives by your moves as if they were hit by a Mach truck. That is obviously a dream job in wrestling for someone who never considered himself a wrestler or wanted to be. I'll not begrudge a man for making a sweet deal for himself, but in wrestling its disrespectful to everyone else. Now obviously they might not say it at the time because majority of them were trying to keep their jobs, but your entry in the wrestling world snubbed more deserving wrestlers from greatness, people you could have learned your craft from.

When WCW sunk, you alot of your public spotlight to belittle and bash the WWF. Even went so far as to claim the WWF didn't help survivors of the 9/11 disaster because they were "New York Based". Even though they used their Club in NYC as a Shelter. What motivates you to degrade a Promotion? You were aware at the time it wouldn't make you any friends with the wrestlers there? Or did that not factor into your mindset at the time?

Now you want to come to the WWE, or you want people to want you to go there. But from what the Wrestling pages claim you have a few conditions, which included not putting over certain people and not jobbing at all to Brock or HHH. Now im no fan of them either, but what gives you the audacity to make such a condition? Are you at all a wrestler? If you were you wouldn't make such a selfish condition for yourself to job the company. You shouldn't be worried about who you or who you don't put over, your SUPPOSE TO ENTERTAIN THE FANS! Being a wrestler, that tells the story in the ring. Self image be damned man. If that means taking a Sledge hammer shot from HHH or getting f-5 by Brock, then so be it. Someone who comes to the bargaining table and instead of arguing over salary its whom you will or will not lose to when you are Not even a WWE employee is a rather shallow representation of your character.

Now I clicked unsure and i'll tell you why. Despite my distaste of your behavior and performance in my Favorite form of entertainment, I do see the value in you as a wrestler. You need to go to boot camp though, spend time in OVW actually learn some wrestling moves and how to sell. And when you do come in you need to come in as a wrestler, not some Fluke ratings ploy who gets his old push that screws over everyone else. Basically you want to be a wrestler? Then BE a wrestler! not some prima donna who proclaims that he will Main event from day one and will quit if you are forced to be humiliated by being jobbed to someone who deserves a push over than you. You are not the Undertaker, who has been in the company for a decade plus and earned his nitch. You are not a Steve Austin, a Rock, a HHH who also contributed in their ways royally and earned their spots, Once you sign the dotted line in the WWE, your past fame future name, is erased. You are not the Monster Goldberg, you are a newbie wrestler which in Reality you are. You are a curtain jerker, and you remake your name in the WWE by hard work. Can you do that? You went to Japan if you can handle their excellence you can handle the WWE right?

Sincerly VERY Sincerly

Oh man, you're so cool. You used words like "sell" in your post. You're obviously the biggest smark ever.

Get the net. He's coming, people want him to come. He wasn't bad in WCW, he was just given a big push. So what? He's better than Batista, Nathan Jones & all the other huge men that WWE is bringing in. Plus he has name value.

The real question is, why shouldn't he come? Because some smarks don't want him too? Yeah, that stopped Scott Steiner...

and they're paying for Steiner now.

The point was it doesn't matter what we think. If he wants to come, he's coming. Marks outnumber us ten fold anyway.

That doesn't mean we shouldn't express our opinion. There's no point for Goldberg to come now. We have Austin back, and Rock is back and doing well. Apparently, we also have an Austin willing to do the JOB to the rising stars, hopefully.

my whole point in doing that email wasn't because I actually Believed it would move him... Much less him actually READING it. I did it to vent about how this guy coming to WWE would discredit those already in the company.

Oh and Batistia is far better than Goldberg.

at least Batistia can lose a match or two without feigning injury. What me lose to scott steiner??? Nooo I can't Eric I ummm still hurting from that hand injury I suffered 6 months ago... Owwww...Now if I was gonna win the World title... WELL I think I could grin and bare through the PAIN.

at least Batistia spent years in OVW before appearing in WWE.
