So, I found out today that there was going to be a house show in my area in April.  I started wondering who would be coming, seeing as how the split is coming up and all.

 

The show is on Monday, which means we'll be getting the Smackdown crew.  

 

Still, I can't help but wonder if we'll be getting any names at all, or if we'll just get a crew of the lower tier Smackdown people.

I don't know if the split is going to run that deep. I mean, it IS 60% a storyline angle, and only 40% a real change in direction. At this point, asking if you'lll get Raw or Smackdowners on a house show is like asking if you'll get WWF or Alliance folks during the Invasion.

 

So far the split is entirely based on TV & airtime, so at a house show you may very well get people from both sides who don't have a match on their respective show that week.

The House Shows will be separate.  Both rosters will be running separate circuits.  The Raw team will be doing their set of shows, and the Smackdown team will be doing their set of shows.  They probably won't even be in the same part of the country.

 

Of course, this could all change.  This is just what the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has been reporting, so it was probably the plan at the time, but might not be the plan anymore.

What the yodelrific one stated is pretty much where it stands.

To show you how much it can change:

at one point they were going to sell house shows on the fact that the rosters would be combined only at the house shows.

they wouldnt fight each other but have seperate "same confrence/division" matches.

They realized that was stupid because the travel schedule would be haywire.
