Guest tpww7 Report post Posted March 5, 2003 Rey Mysterio vs. Jamie Noble vs. Tajiri Caught up with the feed a bit late today, sorry. When I tuned in, Rey Mysterio's music was playing and he had just finished winning the triple-thread match against Jamie Noble and Tajiri. Mysterio is now the number one contender for Matt Hardy's Cruiserweight title. The two now have a match scheduled for WrestleMania X9. Winner via pinfall - Rey Mysterio
Guest tpww7 Report post Posted March 5, 2003 Chavo Guerrero & Eddie Guerrero vs. Chuck Palumbo & Johnny Stamboli Chavo and Eddie Guerrero got the win via pinfall in a good match. Afterwards, Stamboli and Palumbo were joined by Nunzio who was at ringside. The three did a post-match beat down of "Los Guerrero's". Winners via pinfall - Eddie Guerrero
Guest tpww7 Report post Posted March 5, 2003 Paul Heyman is pleading with Kurt Angle to find a way to get him out of his scheduled steel cage match with Brock Lesnar, which Lesnar won last week by defeating both members of Team Angle. Angle says he thinks due to his "special relationship" with Stephanie McMahon, he thinks he'll be able to get Heyman off the hook. Kurt Angle goes to Stephanie McMahon's office to attempt to talk her out of keeping the match between Lesnar and Heyman in a cage. Stephanie says she's tired of Angle trying to suduce her into doing what he wants. Because of that, if Lesnar beats Heyman in their steel cage match tonight, he gets Kurt Angle for the WWE title next week on SmackDown!

Guest tpww7 Report post Posted March 5, 2003 Matt Hardy vs. Billy Kidman (Cruiserweight Title) Matt Hardy defeated Billy Kidman in a Cruiserweight title rematch from No Way Out. Hardy got the pinfall to retain the belt. Winner via pinfall - Matt Hardy Nidia Interview Nidia backstage with Josh Mathews. They air a clip from Nidia's trip to the Playboy mansion where she encourages two security guards to tell Hugh Heffner to watch how wild she can get next Thursday on "Girls Gone Wild". We then go back to Nidia with Josh Mathews. She challenges Torrie Wilson to a body challenge at the "Girls Gone Wild" pay-per view next week. The basic challenge is, who looks better naked. She then shows Josh Mathews her breasts, but the camera can't see it. Of course, Josh Mathews gets wide-eyed. Undertaker is explaining to Nathan Jones how the ring is similar to a jail cell. You have to put your time in and make sacrifices. They train with two jobbers in front of some people in the audience. Jones beats up one of the guys and refuses to stop until 'Taker pulls him off of the guy.

Instead of letting Kurt just bow out gracefully in front of his home ton next week, they are going to risk further injury (And let's face it, Brock isn't exactly known, like at all, for being careful and looking after the weel being of the other guy.) and have the match just so Angle can look like a fool one last time ina squash before he leaves. i hate it. Guest Showstoppa Icon Report post Posted March 5, 2003 .....why not have him just hand over the title. Instead of lesnar beating him for it. I mean, hes gonna win it at WM anyway
Guest tpww7 Report post Posted March 5, 2003 Undertaker w/ Nathan Jones vs. A-Train w/ Big Show Undertaker had Nathan Jones in his corner, A-Train had Big Show. Lot of outside interference from Big Show while Nathan Jones would inadvertantly distract the referee. Match ended when Nathan Jones speared Big Show causing the disqualification. Might have ended in a double-DQ as the ref saw interference from Big Show as well. After the match, Undertaker and Nathan Jones cleaned house. Disqualification

I'm SO praying for the beatdown of Angle (by Benoit, but unknown), tear speech, and then subsequent blaming of Benoit.... Otherwise, Angle is going to look like CRAP, as he'll drop it in about ... oh ... 2 seconds before 5 mins are up...

He's not gonna wrestle AS What will he do? I can see them making Angle look like a baby all night, him coming out and saying he doesn't want to wrestle, forfeit, looking like a Twit, and Brock F5ing him to next year, so he looks worse. Guest bob_barron Report post Posted March 5, 2003 I don't think he's gonna take an F5. I don't know what they'll do but I really believe Angle has taken his last bump for the year
Guest tpww7 Report post Posted March 5, 2003 Big Show/A-Train were apparently kicked out of the building, not sure, the link to that segment wont work for me.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted March 5, 2003 I don't think he's gonna take an F5. Hey why not? it puts the icing on the humiliation cake. And after all, Brock is SO careful. Bob Holly and Albert can attest to that. And yes, Bob Holly had it coming and I hold no ill will towards Brock for doing that, but there was a better solution. Guest juvvy Report post Posted March 5, 2003 During the break, Big Show and A-Train were arguing with Stephanie McMahon. She was telling them, not asking them, to leave the arena. Big Show and A-Train wanted to talk to their manager Paul Heyman, but Stephanie said she is the General Manager and forced them to leave the building.
