Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Report post Posted March 19, 2002 What is the big obssesion people have with "curtain jerking"? Doesn't the big interview curtain jerk on 75% of the shows? I think comparing where a person shows up on the show to their "status" is a really antiquiated way of looking at things (other than maybe the main event itself). I think the opening slot is a pretty good one for RVD since even though I don't like him, he fires up the crowd early which is a worthwhile contribution in and of itself. Guest Report post Posted March 19, 2002 I Agree that raw wasnt a good start but i still think the IC Title matchs will Curtain Jerk Than Become 2 match 4 match until its is right before the mainevent. RVD Will probably hold it for 4-5 Months Bring dignetty back to a title Regal Ruinned. The WWF wants to get their shows started off with an exciting match to pump up the crowd and TV audience. RVD can do just that. Curtain jerking is fine if it is Raw or a PPV, but if it is a house show that's kinda bad. RVD needs a challenger that can take him to the limit and then job. He needs Jerry Lynn. Oh wait......dammit. Storm can be the new Lynn then. I had a great idea of pushing Lesnar into a feud with RVD.
