Guest nikowwf Report post Posted March 5, 2003 Maybe I am just being super negative, but the matches link doesn't work on the wrestlemania site any more. I had a vision, a vision of a certain wrestler I hate (HHH) moving to Smackdown to give it more star power and take the smackdown title from Brock Lesnar, thus pissing me off, making me puke and cry and want to stop watching wrestling all together. am i being paranoid? niko

Guest Brian Report post Posted March 5, 2003 I was about to put up a new topic, but here's what I would do: Brock vs. Undertaker End the win streak, Brock put out Undertaker, Undertaker hasn't beat Brock, logical. HHH vs. Booker Austin vs. Rock Hogan vs. McMahon Regal/Storm vs. Dudleys (If the Dudleys can go) Team Angle vs. Guerreros vs. Benoit/Rhyno Have Rhyno turn on Benoit, eliminate him first, have Guerreros go over. RVD vs. Kane Matt Hardy vs. Rey Mysterio Chris Jericho vs. HBK Technically, need more filler. Maybe Test vs. Christian but I doubt that'll even make HEAT with the trouble Test is in. Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted March 5, 2003 Angle is gonna drop his Title to Lesnar, then Triple H is gonna drop his Title to either Booker, Rock or maybe Austin before jumping ship to Smackdown where he'll take Brock's Title at Mania. Way too many Title changes. A little Paranoid
Guest Brian Report post Posted March 5, 2003 I'm beginning to doubt Angle will even drop the title via pinfall. It's not the smart thing to do since that's still a money match down the line, and the anticipation will be there. Just have him get injured, and later push the idea Brock or Rhyno did it (turn Brock heel).
Guest humongous2002 Report post Posted March 5, 2003 Brock and Undertaker??????????What are you smoking cause i want to have some of that strong s#!t?????????!!!
Guest Brian Report post Posted March 5, 2003 It's the best option they have unless they immediately turn Brock heel. It has a lot of backstory fundamentally supported by the fact that Undertaker has never lost at Mania. As much as we like Benoit, they've got him back in the tag division right now, and Undertaker is the best option at this point.
Guest humongous2002 Report post Posted March 5, 2003 Brock turning heel is the obvious choice b/c at least when people buy the ppv they wont know if a face will be able to beat Lesnar for the title. Heel Brock against Benoit or RVD(if they do an angle about Rob being upset with being misused at RAW b/c of Trips politics and being traded to SD and have Heyman as his manager he just turned face since he hates Lesnar with all his heart) for Mania. Guest nikowwf Report post Posted March 5, 2003 Id do the following.... Looks like Heyman is out of the equation. So Team Angle is angle-less. (pardon the pun) Do Brock vs. Benoit face vs. face, respect and all that. Have Brock wrestle a real heel style match....cheating, violent. Have Benoit about to go over, have Team Angle run out and clobber him. Team Angle has aligned themselves with another amateur wrestler, and the man who beat them before. Turns Angle face down the road to come back and take out the evil Brock and his traitor ex-sidekicks. Gives Smackdown a strong heel, and Benoit a title to chase....which i think with the size difference can really let people get behind him as an underdog. niko
Guest notJames Report post Posted March 5, 2003 Why should Lesnar trust TA after all the shit they put him through for the last few weeks? They could say it was just business, but those two aren't charismatic enough or over enough in their own rights to make it effective. Too many swerves will just confuse the marks. Guest Crux Report post Posted March 5, 2003 I would make sense that after Mania, Jericho go to SD and take over as the top heel. But I guess we cant keep WWE's own Romeo (H) and Juliet (Steph) away from each other for too long.
Guest FeArHaVoC Report post Posted March 5, 2003 Doesn't Steph attend Raw and Triple H attends Smackdown anyway?
Guest Brian Report post Posted March 5, 2003 Thinking without the trades (and even then RVD isn't prepped to step into a world title feud with three weeks), I think they could pull off a Lesnar turn to Heyman but not with the Team Angle part. Basically, the whole thing would go that Team Angle was not able to protect the champ, thus they get their asses beat.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted March 5, 2003 Why can't they just have Face Vs Face? Respect...It works pretty easy...It isn't even going to be an important match anyways...
Guest The_Radical Report post Posted March 5, 2003 I'm in agreement here about Lesnar remaining face. Title switches and roster jumping notwithstanding, the easiest way to confuse wrestling fans ("marks", whatever) is to make wrestlers change from face to heel to face to heel and so on and so forth until their little heads are spinning because nobody can remember who is feuding with who and who your supposed to cheer for. It would be pretty stupid to turn Lesnar heel now when it was basically the fans ("marks", whatever) that turned him face in the first place. I also agree that Angle should not drop the belt in a pinfall situation or a submission one as it would ruin the eventual money match for next years Wrestlemania. It really sucks that this had to happen to Kurt now, he was going to come out of this feud looking damn good and he would have made Lesnar look like a million bucks in the process. IMO, I would have Angle drop the belt to Lesnar next week and then have Benoit go over Lesnar at WM (Hey, a guy can dream can't he?) The Radical has spoken. Guest Choken One Report post Posted March 5, 2003 The real best Idea is to either have Angle forfiet the title...or be stripped off it...Have VINCE (not Stephanie) Suspend Kurt indefinitally. Then Stephanie announces that Since Brock was already the #1 contender, He will recieve a Spot at Mania...and That Chris Benoit will fight Undertaker for the second spot...Undertaker taps cleanly and suffers a beat down from Heyman's Family but Jones saves him... Meanwhile...Benoit Vs Lesnar is set for Mania... Benoit wins and Lesnar bows out gracefully with an Sign of mutal respect. Benoit gives a Warm thank you on Smackdown...but Heyman interupts and goes on a Spiel about how saw that Angle was weak and that he was afraid but now, He has found his ultimate solution...His greatest conquer...Benoit will find out later that Night... Benoit decides he wants to be a Fighting champion...He is given an Title Match with Eddy...After a solid 8 minutes...Benoit hooks the Crossface...He wins...BOOM! GORE GORE GORE! Rhyno gores the MOTHERFUCK out of Benoit... Heyman scrolls down the ramp as Rhyno stomps and attacks Benoit...Heyman chuckles and shakes hands with Rhyno and bends down and whispers into Benoit's ears... The next week, It's reveled that it was RHYNO that took Edge Out, not Team Angle. After Losing the tag titles, Haas and Benjamin aren't on Heyman's good side...He grants them ONE more chance to make them happy since they already lost the title, couldn't protect Angle... They get an chance to fight Eddy and Chavo again and this one goes 15 minutes until Matt Hardy gets involved...He causes an DQ...H/B get pissed...Haas and Benjamin plead with Heyman as Hardy enters the room... Heyman shakes hands with Matt... *Note Shanny turned on Matt after Mania when Matt tried to blame him... Heyman: I realized that Kurt Angle wasn't a very good leader to you guys and for that I can't in good mind put you guys away for blowing the titles away...I realized as talented as you two are, You need motivation not just from me but from One Matthew Hardy, He will school u on Mattitude and this will become your evoultion...Those uniforms you wear are of a loser an man who braytrayed you...It's time for you to become Team Heyman...I am now YOUR leader and with the help of Matthew here, he will get you two to reach your highest potential...That WWE title WILL be mine...It belongs to me...I deserve it...I've created all the biggest names in Wrestling and yet I've gotten ZERO credit for it...Well, With Matt, You two, Atrain, The Big show and my ultimate Solution Rhyno, (These three emerge from the back)...I will take this family into glory...where we belong. Stephanie denys Rhyno an Title shot simply because of his actions towards Edge...This doesn't Fare well for Heyman... Benoit demands an Match with that Traitor scumbag Rhyno but Stephanie says Rhyno will NOT be given a title shot...But offers an Special 6 Man Tag Match between Rhyno and Haas and Benjamin against Himself and any two partners of his choosing at Backlash...Benoit hooks up with The Tag Champions Los Guerreos... The Next week...Team Heyman (Haas and Benjamin) with the motivation of Mattitude conquer the Tag Titles... They have the 6 Man tAG MATCH that leads to an WILD brawl between Rhyno and Benoi that goes over the arena...and ends with Them returning to the ring with Rhyno BLASTING All Three guys with GORE GORE GORE! Rhyno casually covers Benoit for the win...The entire Heyman Family (H/B, TBS, Atrain, Matt) destory Benoit but Brock! Returns! He clears house and ALMOST gets his hands on Rhyno... Judgement Day Arrives and Stephanie finally succumbs to the pressure and Rewards Rhyno the title shot...Heyman plays neogotiations and seals a NO DQ Stipulation but Stephanie keenly assures that ALL of WWE wrestlers will BANNED from ringside and will suffer instant PAYLESS Suspension... After some cat and mouse games...J.D comes... Benoit and Rhyno have a bang out 20 minute Brawl climaxing in Rhyno Tapping out to the Crossface. Heyman is PISSED! TBS failed, Rhyno Failed...Hardy couldn't do the job right...and Heyman arrives to the conclusion that ONLY ONE man can defeat Chris Benoit...Who knows Benoit better then ANY other person? Heyman arrives in Stephanie's office...He says he has an proposal... The smd after KOTR...While Benoit battled Heyman Family left and right...Heyman FINALLY announces he has an man that HAS beaten Chris Benoit before and will do it again at Fully Loaded (Random Name for the July PPV)...He however resfuses to reveal the mystery indentiy... The PPV comes and WHO does it be? The One and the Only...the King of The World...Chris Jericho! Jericho gets paraded with Massive Chrous of boos...Jericho cuts an SCATHING Promo that garners MASSIVE Heel heat...Benoit and Jericho DO battle for 30 minutes...Climaxing in the SHOCKING turn from TBS...Benoit makes Jericho tap... It is revealed that Heyman traded Rhyno and Haas and Benjamin and TBS (turns he discovered that he was traded back to raw and wanted to screw Heyman) for Jericho. Heyman is finally defeated...as Brock Lesnar...whom just finished off the Heyman Family secondary Goons and John Cena is named the #1 Contender and they Hype the Re-Match...Brock Goes over in a **** Match...However...In a shocking twist...Lesnar realigns with Heyman. And that's where I stop because I am getting too far ahead of myself...
Guest Crux Report post Posted March 5, 2003 Doesn't Steph attend Raw and Triple H attends Smackdown anyway? Eh, true. But how long before you think Steph pitches the idea for an on-air reconciliation?
Guest TheArchiteck Report post Posted March 5, 2003 I kinda like Choken's idea. I'm a little iffy about Heyman and Matt teaming up though.
Guest BobbyWhioux Report post Posted March 6, 2003 Why should Lesnar trust TA after all the shit they put him through for the last few weeks? They could say it was just business, but those two aren't charismatic enough or over enough in their own rights to make it effective. Too many swerves will just confuse the marks. Good points all. But, if they chose to, they could play up Shelton Benjamin's past as Brock's college teammate. Maybe Shelton and Brock buried the hatchet and let that old loyalty resurface, who knows. And Haas just follows Benjamin wherever he goes. It could work, if they wanted it to.
Guest Retro Rob Report post Posted March 6, 2003 The Undertaker-Brock match actually would make sense from a storyline standpoint. The two still have unfinished business and when Brock ends the Taker's 'Mania win-streak, that will be another accolade he could use. Considering the Taker is popular, it would be a good way to get Brock even more over. I hate fantasy booking and speculation though, so I'll leave it at that. Guest Brian Report post Posted March 6, 2003 I think it's better than Benoit, just because they'd have to start the Benoit thing in two weeks and more than likely job him out at his big shot.
