Free agent DE Vonnie Holliday had breakfast on March 5 with his old Packers buddy, Matt Hasselbeck. Later, he met with his former Green Bay coaches, Mike Holmgren and Ray Rhodes. After playing five years with the Packers, Holliday says he likes the look of the Seahawks.

With negotiations stalled to re-sign Mike Hollis, the Bills kept their place-kicking options open by meeting with Rian Lindell on March 5.

Veteran P Jeff Feagles agreed to terms March 4 on a contract with the Giants, ending his 5-year run with the Seahawks. Citing an unidentified source, the News Tribune of Tacoma said the contract is for five years with a $500,000 signing bonus. The contract is believed to pay the veterans minimum of $750,000 each year.

DE Hugh Douglas visited the Seahawks on March 4, but cautioned he still had visits with the Chiefs and Giants still to go. Douglas wants to play with a Super Bowl contender and he thinks the Seahawks can get there.

The Hawks could still use some help at the corners but if they can acquire Holiday or Douglas, hopefully both, this team could really surpirse alot of people this year. Also, this could be the year that Holmgrem proves his worth as a head coach, or else he may be outta town faster than you can say Tom Flores.

I am trying to figure out all the Vonnie Holliday interest. The Eagles are talking about him as a possible replacement. How many sacks did he end up with last year?
