Guest Steve J. Rogers Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 This is around the time that shows start announcing that this season should be the last, usually after this its the network ax that usually does it. So have any shows decided to bow out besides Buffy: The Vampire Slayer? I think its the last season for Dawson's Creek, which is very ironic as two shows that defined the WB are bowing out the same year Farscape will be cancelled on Sci-Fi at the end of the current season Obviously Providence left during the 2002 portion of the 2002-2003 season. Usually there are some more big names saying so long by this time of year and this year apparantly, to me anyway, the biggest names are Dawson and Buffy, which is odd as in they were big when they started but not as "mainstream-pop-culturely" significant as they once were but I wouldn't quite put either show on my "biggest TV show busts" thread below Steve
Guest Mole Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 Dawson's Creek was defiently good last year, and brought me in for one more year. The show was just getting way too stale, and them going to college defiently gave it a boost. I think it was the year they went to college, but I'm not an expert of the show or anything. However, after this season's first episode, I vowed NEVER to watch the show again. The whole Dawson/Joey thing was just so much of a tease, I hated it. Them FINALLY having sex, looking like they were back together finally, and then they drop it. I haven't watched the show since, and never will again.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted March 6, 2003 Report Posted March 6, 2003 Oz finished up last month. And it's been said by David Chase that there won't be a season 6 of the Sopranos, so this next season will be its last.
