Guest treble charged Posted March 7, 2003 Report Posted March 7, 2003 Hey, lookit, there's some glue on her leg there.
Guest CED Ordonez Posted March 7, 2003 Report Posted March 7, 2003 HO-LY SHIT! Somebody Puma's advertising department has major cajones for adding the shot on the leg, pardon the pun.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted March 7, 2003 Report Posted March 7, 2003 Holy shit. Groundbreaking, truly. I want Pumas now.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted March 7, 2003 Report Posted March 7, 2003 So wait, guys will jizz on me if I wear Pumas?
Guest MaxPower27 Posted March 7, 2003 Report Posted March 7, 2003 Oh my fucking God. I have to sell these shoes somehow. "No sir, you won't get an ivory shower just because you wear Puma's"
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted March 7, 2003 Report Posted March 7, 2003 Well, Pony's using porn stars -- so why not? Do you have any idea where these ads will be placed?...
Guest Will Scarlet Posted March 7, 2003 Report Posted March 7, 2003 Well, technically, the guy's wearing pumas too.
Guest Flyboy Posted March 9, 2003 Report Posted March 9, 2003 Sweet. I have a pair of Puma's that I never wear... time to dust them off. (I saw this ad first about 3 days ago at Snope's messageboard.)
Guest The Czech Republic Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 "New Direction" or "Nude Erection?"
Guest Just call me Dan Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 That's brilliant, but having the woman in Reeboks or something would be more assertive.
Guest Flyboy Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 That's brilliant, but having the woman in Reeboks or something would be more assertive. They could get sued for that, I believe.
Guest jimmy no nose Posted March 15, 2003 Report Posted March 15, 2003 Well if they didn't make that ad they should now. I almost went and bought their shoes.
Guest Flyboy Posted March 15, 2003 Report Posted March 15, 2003 (edited) Well if they didn't make that ad they should now. I almost went and bought their shoes. They would actually have to find the people who made it first and then give them money/credit for the ad. But I do agree you... that ad is great. AND it would sell them shoes. Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted March 15, 2003 Report Posted March 15, 2003 This thread is useless. In fact... "I can't believe it's not GameCop!"
Guest evenflowDDT Posted March 15, 2003 Report Posted March 15, 2003 Well if they didn't make that ad they should now. I almost went and bought their shoes. They would actually have to find the people who made it first and then give them money/credit for the ad. Actually, since whoever made the ad used their Puma trademarks without permission/licensing, couldn't Puma take them to court for either a large sum of money and/or to "confiscate" the dreadful ad to "reclaim the good name of their trademark" anyway? I'm not totally sure how that stuff works.
Guest saturnmark4life Posted March 16, 2003 Report Posted March 16, 2003 I guess I'm still fairly drunk BUTT I don't get how cum sells shoes.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted March 16, 2003 Report Posted March 16, 2003 Simple. Cum = sexual innuendo. Sexual innuendo = "hip, young, funny." "Hip, young, funny" = marketable. What, you mean the streaking soccer fan didn't sell Nike's?
Guest Flyboy Posted March 16, 2003 Report Posted March 16, 2003 The streaking soccer fan didn't involve cum.
