I've recently been cutting through some of Baldacci's books, Last Man Standing, The Winner, The Simple Truth, and I was all excited when I found his new book, but was shattered to find it was a 'self-discovery journey' story. Utter pap. I was so disappointed. Why oh why did he have to try to show 'depth' and 'variety' in his writing style??
