Writing A Will

Recommended Posts

Guest T®ITEC

I wrote my will last night, just because I thought that it would be nice to have. I think it's fairly complete, but I'd just like to poll everyone and see what I'm missing.

Thanks kids. I  you all.

EDIT: Okay, here's what I have:

· What's to be done with my corpse (organ donation/maybe scientific research/ashes spread over a specific lake)

· What to do if I'm become braindead or if I'm in a coma or something

· What's to become of my possessions (divided amongst family and friends, outlined fairly specifically)

· Certain requirements if there's to be a memorial service (what song is to be played, my secret "guest appearance" plan)

· Final messages to the jerks I know (AKA my family/friends)

· Making sure someone tells my online friends that I'm dead

...That's about it. I plan on signing it with some witnesses around, so that they may sign as well.

It's hard to tell what you're missing till we know what you're not missing...cause right now I'd say everything

EDIT: Bah! You edited the first post...making my post make little to no sense

Seriously? Check www.nola.com for info. There are many good cheap programs out there that will walk you through the process. Unless you have a lawyer look over the final draft it may never hold up. Do you have kids and/or money?

Well, I updated my original post, now outlining what I have. Which includes cash but no children.

Bob, you get my NewsRadio CDs. That's all I feel I can leave you.

Tritec, aren't you 17? Isn't a little early to write a will, out of curiosity?

I don't think it's too early. Never know when you'll die...

Touche.

I know when you're dying.

But I'll keep that my secret.

You're leaving everything to your beloved husband, right? ;)

Zsasz, you can have my brand-new copies of Arkham Asylum and The Killing Joke, 'cause no one else wants them anyway.

Well, I guess the stupid thing is as complete as it needs to be. I don't know what www.nola.com is supposed to do for me, but hey.

I want to make a Katie Vick joke here, but even I won't stoop that low.
