Guest The Tino Standard Report post Posted March 7, 2003 I just found a potentially bad sign of the WM card... The match listing of the show on WrestleMania.com has the Hogan-McMahon 'fight' listed as the top match. Of course, it also still lists Lesnar-Angle, which we know won't happen. It's weird. As I recall, last year, Hogan-Rock was listed at the top of the website card, but didn't actually go on last. In retrospect, it should have. But this year, we have a Hogan match listed at the top of the card again. We don't know where the match will run, but MAN, with some of those other matches on the card, this CAN'T go last.... can it? Guest Olympic Slam Report post Posted March 7, 2003 Relax my friend. They have so much scrambling to do between now and then I wouldn't get worked up about any of the matches. With Angle/Lesnar in the scrap heap, I expect Rock/Austin to be the main event. Unless by some miracle they turn WM into Booker's night.

Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted March 7, 2003 I don't know about most people, but if Hogan-McMahon was main eventing, I'd walk out and try to beat the traffic.

Kinda like what people did last year for the HHH-Jericho Undisputed Championship match?

BWAAAAAHHHHAAAAHHHAAA Exactly Laugh if you want, but I'm going to remind everyone of you that I predicted Booker T. would win the World Heavyweight Championship at WM. I made that call on Feb. 20, long before anyone else even gave him a chance. I still don't think that match will go on last, but if it does, then you can damn well better believe Booker is winning. Guest Mole Report post Posted March 7, 2003 The last match at WM should be for the title. It's the biggest card of the year, and it looks better if you have the title on the show last. I would of put Angle/Brock last, but that won't happen.
Guest The Tino Standard Report post Posted March 7, 2003 Oh, if Angle-Lesnar was still happening, then absolutely it should go on last. Now, if Booker is slated to win the title, I'd have no problem with that match going last. Brock-whomever, Austin-Rock or Booker-HHH last are all fine with me. And clearly, Rock-Austin has to be the main event now. There is no way in hell Booker vs. HHH is anything but a midcard match.
Guest The Tino Standard Report post Posted March 9, 2003 Small note: I think they have begun quietly removing Angle from the WM promotional machine... I just visited WrestleMania.com and the collage of wrestlers on the front page now has Booker T. in Angle's place.

Whoa dude, I've been calling a Booker T/Trips match at Wrestlemania with a Booker win since mid-February, as soon as Goldy got zapped. I still don't think they'll put Rock/Austin last. I mean, Brock Lesnar won the Rumble to get a spot in the main event at Wrestlemania, no matter who his opponent was. If they find some way to explain that away before that night, that's fine, but as it is now the WWE Championship match will take the top spot, I say.
Guest TheArchiteck Report post Posted March 9, 2003 lmao @ the "I called it!" fest. I bet by the next page...people are going to say they called it back during the Ebony Experience days. I'm pretty sure that Rock/Austin deal will go last. Both of em are a hell more entertaining outside the ring...so i'm not too excited about it. If they do put Booker/HHH last.....man I wouldn't know what to think. I'll be rooting for Booker big time. He deserves the top spot after all the bull he's been through of late. Guest Choken One Report post Posted March 9, 2003 Vince will take a Cue from last year and figure that Rock/Austin will have the Most heat so he'll close it with that match... If they put HHH/Booker last, it gives it all away but I won't care. If Benoit takes over for Angle, It won't be the final Match...Neither would Taker. I am still expecting Goldberg to play some role here...
