Theory of who made hhh...

But HHH was a victim of politics too. That's how this hsit happens, people see others getting hurt by politics and have to play them to keep from ending up in that situation. It's fucking cycle.

Point taken, goodhelmet. Business wise, it's very risky. The only thing I'll say is HHH has a thing for wwf gals and Steph, while not the greatest thing on the divas roster, is an upgrade from Chyna. I know the guy is passionate about the business, but I guess that doesn't mean you have to be passionate with someone in the business. (guess you get points if they happen to be the head tv writer)

But Austin never walked out of WrestleMania with the title...despite not being over or able to work...

My problem isn't with HHH the champion...it's with HHH being champion while not being good, over, and pretty much burying Jericho...

Personally, I think people that spend all their time bitching about "backstage politics" are hypocrites, because anyone here or anywhere else would do the exact same thing if put in a powerful, cushy position, wether in wrestling, or elsewhere. If you were HHH, would you go up to Vince McMahon and say "you know what Vince, that young guy over there has potential, why don't you give him my spot for a while and see how it works out?". No, of course you wouldn't. Same thing if you were on the board of a Fortune 500 company, you wouldn't suggest to the CEO that you get demoted and have the guy from the mail room take your spot for a few weeks.

I would be emarrased that the Intercontinental Champion was more over than me...if I just ended WrestleMania as undisputed champion.

I would truly be embarrassed.

knowing that I am getting so much more tv time and a push then the IC champ...and yet he is one of about 5 people who are more over than me as a face...and I know that I can't go in the ring...

I wouldn't be able to look at myself in the mirror...but then again...I have a conscience.

Another excellent point Hogan made wrestling. The nature of the beast is that everyone is competing for a spot high on the roster. The higher up you are, the more money you make. You really wouldn't want to give your spot up to someone who is faster, stronger, and younger.

But it doesn't make it right!

But in this scenario, HHH would have been the board member out with an illness while the entire company moved forward WITHOUT him!

I wouldn't step down and let someone take over, but in a business taht is constantly changing like wrestling I definately would look at talent that works hard and gets over, plus pays their dues like Jericho; and realizes that they have the baility to play a face and a heel, have the mic skills, and wrestle the WWF main event style so that they can essentially move up the card. Now if everyone adapts the mentality that the next guy coming up is going to take your slot, then half-ass and just play the politics all day.

If Vince McMahon wants guys to step aside, then they will do so. Until he wants them to, they have no logical reason to simply let themselves be tossed aside. And should there ever come a time when Vince wants them to step aside and they don't, then they will very likely have their own Montreal.

Hey...if I'm still getting paid I'd take a step back FOR MY OWN CAREER is I was HHH.

Find away to get over and deliver in the ring...and he'll make more money when he gets back on top then he will if he ruins himself now.
