So who injured Edge?

Ok now I'm wondering who injured Edge.(in storyline) It seems that they are setting us up for a SWERVE~! I mean they say it's Team Angle so much I'm beginning to believe it's not then. I've come up with 3 ideas for who injured Edge.

 

1) The Straightforward Route- It was Team Angle all along. They jumped him to make the match easier.

 

2) The "Wow WWE is using something they indirectly set up and are running with it"-Matt Hardy and Shannon Moore did it. Matt came out and bad mouthed Edge's injury on SD! after it happened. He did it for whatever reason.

 

3) The typical WWE SWERVE~!- It was Chris Benoit. He was jealous of Edge's sucess in there team and how over Edge is. He jumped him out of jealousy.

 

4) The "We are complete dumbasses WWE Style"- Nobody injured him. It was a freak accident in the ring. It'll never be mentioned when he returns. He'll run through all of Team Angle in a gauntlet match as "revenge" and then be crucified for not having a good match with a hoss right after his return.

 

So which do you guys think it is?

I'll take any of the three you mentioned as long as they don't take forget to mention that someone did indeed take him out. With the lack of quality control in both WWE shows it wouldn't amaze me to see them forget a detail like that.

I hope it is Benoit. And then next week, Kurt will be layed out, which Benoit does as well. The explaination can be that he will do absolutley anything (including injuring anybody, face or heel, friend or foe) to become the world champion. Play it off as Benoit is going for Brock next and play a match at WrestleMania around that angle.

Actually, even that sounds plausable. And most likely true. But that's more if they don't do anything about who took out Edge.

detective ohair will go thrugh matches with team angle after the matches he interegates hass and banjamin they admit that it was the one armed man.

 

Then at the next ppv the atacker will reveal himself to be z ohair gives team angle a weird look to which they will respond "arm leg close enough"

If they were planning on brining someone new like Godlberg in, it would propably help them get over as a heel by destroying Angle and Edge.

 

I too am wishing that it's the result of a heel Benoit so it leads to him and Brock at Wrestlemania.

Likely this. Or maybe they'll use it to push some one new. Like Nathan Jones. Who Edge won't be able to carry to a good match.

I was thinking that they were going to reveal the attacker when Edge returned ala Steve Austin's attacker.

*Benoit comes out to save Edge but attacks him*
