Guest tank_abbott Posted March 8, 2003 Report Posted March 8, 2003 NANO: When a scientist accidentally unleashes a super-powered Nanotech monster with a childlike mind, it adopts a small-time grifter as its father figure, and the mayhem begins! Their crime spree targets April's new antique shop, and the Turtles come to her rescue. But how do you stop something that rebuilds itself as fast as you bash it apart? It's a question the Turtles better answer fast, cause the Nano-matic slices, it dices, and it purees turtle soup in seconds
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted March 8, 2003 Report Posted March 8, 2003 This episode was fucking GREAT. The nano-tech bots were developed for surgery (so that the doctors could send them in there, and they'd fix the wound). However, they had a personality trait as a glitch, and thus were as mature as 3-year-old's (wanting personal attention, gullible, etc.). This episode was almost hard to watch because of the fact that the nano-bots' creation(s) (large droids made of scrap metal, usually) acted as a 3-year-old would...and the TMNT knew they needed to destroy it for the safety of all. The added screams that sounded like toddler screams made it all the harder. This episode of a children's action cartoon has been more touching than almost any movie made in Hollywood in the past 10 years.
Guest Karnage Posted March 8, 2003 Report Posted March 8, 2003 I think that's the first episode where you actually see April's torso covered.
Guest RenegadeX28 Posted March 8, 2003 Report Posted March 8, 2003 I kind of felt sorry for the robber and his robot at the end......... .......but then I laughed, since crying at gonna get the robber anywhere. He got arrested.....lol

And everybody hates 4Kids ENT- From Gamefaqs- to IGN, to Winghaven... Yet they are doing the show, and its better than what any of this young guns over at the mb's i mentioned said. Oh but they like Yugi...and the Billy Corgan ripoff duel, and then they complain about the edits... The ep was showing how much I love this block.
Guest Vyce Posted March 9, 2003 Report Posted March 9, 2003 Goddamn it. I think I got most of the episode on tape, for for a couple minutes there my VCR crapped out.

It was good, but the Beast Wars episode "Transmutate" pulled it off a LOT better. Some of that stuff was DEEP, yo.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted March 9, 2003 Report Posted March 9, 2003 Which one was "Transmutate"? What was the premise?
Guest Blue Bacchus Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 In Transmutate, Rampage and Silverbolt vie over a malformed Protoform. Beast Wars was all about the grey areas not just black and white. Here's a link to the Review. It was good, but the Beast Wars episode "Transmutate" pulled it off a LOT better. Some of that stuff was DEEP, yo. Yeah it is, I'd imagine "Dark Glass" would have been more so if they were allowed to make it.
