I am attempting to create a comp tape through Lynch with early 90's ajpw puro. I want it to start with Tsuruta vs Tenryu feud and then segue into the Misawa vs Tsuruta feud then into Misawa and Co vs Jumbo and Co and culminating with Misawa vs Kawada 6/3/94. I need the dates for the matches that would compile this masterpiece. I need the bad ass puro heads on this one(Pegasus, Becker, Jubuki).

If you really want to do it right, just start getting the TV from 4/90 on up and get Lynch to put together the Tsuruta/Tenyru feud comp for you.  I did it the wrong way but am soon rectifying my error by getting AJ and NJ TV week by week from 4/90 until 12/96.  It will be well worth your time, effort, and money.

You could fill up 2 8-hour tapes just from matches between Misawa dropping his mask in 4/90 and the tag league at the end of the year with Misawa/Kawada v. Jumbo/Taue.  And that's ignoring all the matches they had in '91 & '92, as well as the Misawa v. Kawada stuff and the Jumbo v. Tenryu stuff that goes back a good bit further than just '89 and '90.  Getting just the 'best' matches is one thing - a tape could be made - it's the high points...for some...but missing all the bridges in between subtracts half the fun.  I would just go slowly through the TV at the time - in fact, it's what I'm about to do.

But what if you don't have the money to pay for all those tapes?  Sometimes a "best of" is the only thing one can afford.

Lynch charges 25.00 for 2hrs of custom footage, 30.00 for 2:40 hrs and 35.00 for 3:00 hrs of footage.  If he wants to go deep with even the "best" matches, it is going to run him upwards of 200 bucks.

 

If he were to get 1-2 TV tapes a month, in order, at 20.00 each (6 hrs is how Lynch does most of his TV), that's 40.00 a month 480 for one year and you are getting all the footage in order.

 

I initially thought there was a need to rush through getting tapes but if you slow down and get 1 per month along with something else maybe (ex. 8 hrs worth of current TV or some stuff you want to see from other promotions).

 

Watching in order is much more rewarding, even if the process takes a bit longer and more costly to do.
