Guest Army Eye Report post Posted March 10, 2003 What??? Cemented? Austin could've been still the draw he was if HBK just walked in there and did a Paint by numbers match....He didn't put no one over...Shawn was glory seeking that night. He knew ESPN and The News crews were watching this... What??? Trying to put on a good match is glory seeking? He didn't put anyone over? That was beyond ludicrous what you just said. Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted March 10, 2003 Well, my point was made. One Shawn got stroke he never put anyone over at Mania but his buddies until Taker had to threaten him to do the job to Austin.
Guest nikowwf Report post Posted March 10, 2003 HBK had a good match with HHH this year. TRIPLE STEROIDED UP CANNOT FREAKING MOVE ANY MORE HHH. Chris Jericho has had good matches with Jeff Hardy (PPV). Thats not easy nowadays. He had a more than watchable match with Hogan last year, and had a watchable match with Steiner, which is even more amazing. Together i think they can hit ***1/2 to **** easy. What i can predict easily 100% is that no matter how good the match is, some of you will find a reason to hate it vociferously. "is it just me or did that match suck?" wait for it.... niko
Guest Brian Report post Posted March 10, 2003 HBK had a good gimicked match with HHH. Their other match was passing. The key here is Jericho. Jericho's work will fit right into that roll of underdog. He'll get to bump and sell, and Michaels will do the same for him. Should be good.
Guest Crux Report post Posted March 11, 2003 This rivalry has had a pretty good build...Jericho is an awesome wrestler...and I think Shawn still has something left in him...therefore I give this a prediction of a ***1/2 - **** rating.
Guest NoSelfWorth Report post Posted March 11, 2003 I'm going for ***-***1/
Guest eiker_ir Report post Posted March 11, 2003 i forgot to say, but this is the match i'm looking forward the most this WM....
Guest creativename Report post Posted March 11, 2003 Jericho hasn't had a match with a serviceable worker in a looong time, probably not since he came to Raw after the cage match with Edge. I'm expecting at least ***1/2 out of this. It should be the match of the night, unless they go through with Lesnar-Benoit, which would also have a shot at MOTN. As for HBK's politics, I'd be quite surprised if he didn't do the job here--he's apprently bible buddies with Jericho, and Shawn going over would make no sense at all. Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted March 11, 2003 I say ****. I'm really looking forward to this match. Since Angle/Brock isn't happening, this is probably the match I'm most looking foward to.
Guest Brian Report post Posted March 11, 2003 Rock/Austin's not in the running for MOTN or something?
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted March 11, 2003 Rock/Austin's not in the running for MOTN or something? It'll be a good match, but to be honest, I'm not as big as a fan of Austin's matches than most people are. I'll probably enjoy the Jericho/HBK match more. Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted March 11, 2003 Oh yeah....Rock/Austin is the match i'm paying to see. And I'm paying if Benoit is in the main event. I'm not paying to see HBK's broken down ass wrestle.......that's an added bonus.
Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2003 i'm paying to see the unlikely duo of RVD and Kane job in the first match. j/k
Guest Brian Report post Posted March 11, 2003 Austin's work is so much smarter when he's motivated and he's had enough rest to this point where he can take a good beating and do a nice job bumping. Rock will be Rock.
