Guest FeArHaVoC Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 The plane ride out of Montreal after the No Way Out had an interesting pairing, as Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin sat next to each other en route to Atlanta, where Austin continued to Texas and Hogan continued on to Tampa. They were reportedly friendly and talked about a number of topics, including Eric Bischoff. Austin and Hogan were apparently laughing at some stories concerning their dealings with Bischoff over the years. Austin and Bischoff, incidently, ironed out some former problems between them when Bischoff filmed vignettes in Texas searching for Austin. Bischoff and Austin are now on professional speaking terms. credit: Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter
Guest HartFan86 Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 Okay, so now let's see Hogan vs. Austin because I have been dying to see that for 5 years. Also, if I turned around and saw Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan sitting together behind me on a plane, I'd probably drop dead.

However, I would try to ask as politely as p ossible in order to get a picture with the two of them, just to prove that I did actually meet BOTH of them at the SAME time. I'd also love to overhear that conversation between the two of them.

That would be coolest picture ever. I'd probably frame it and worship to it every morning.
Guest treble charged Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 Well, it's good to know that they got along while they didn't go to the TV tapings that week.
Guest Ram Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 Hatred of Bischoff always brings the masses together. Perhaps we should introduce the middle east to Eric?
Guest HartFan86 Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 That's my new sig when I fix it up later this week. Thanks for posting that pic.
Guest Mik at Cornell Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 Wait, is that a real pic? It kinda looks like it could be photoshopped and I suspect that's what it is,b ut that would have been awesome to see if that actually happened.
Guest My Eyebrow is on fire Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 damn it - i was so happy when stone cold called hogan a "piece of garbage" in RAW magazine - now this...

So, in other words, it isn't photoshopped.
Guest bob_barron Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 It's from the night after Backlash I believe when Hogan saved Austin from a post-show attack
Guest snuffbox Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 Stone Cold vs. Hulk Hogan...cha-ching $$$
Guest Vern Gagne Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 Hatred of Bischoff always brings the masses together. Perhaps we should introduce the middle east to Eric? Why would Hogan hate Bischoff. He had free reign while Bischoff was in charge.
Guest Steve J. Rogers Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 Stone Cold vs. Hulk Hogan...cha-ching $$$ Yeah, but too bad like most of the "dream matchups for the ages" that one (or both in this case) are well beyond any sense of their prime. A better matchup would be Hogan circa 87 and Austin circa 99 in terms of their peak as champion Steve
Guest Steve J. Rogers Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 Just seeing that shot in mindblowing. Granted thats not the vintage Hogan look but its close enough
Rob E Dangerously Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 Austin and Hogan teaming up would be a very interesting team. I don't think either one can't be a face right now. The Austin/Hogan combo finish. Kick, wham, Stunner from Austin, followed by a Legdrop by Hogan
Guest HartFan86 Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 If Hogan is still around til Mania 20, I hope he goes back in the tag division because I love when he was tag team champs with Edge. That was wicked cool (I was there live in Boston when the won the titles) and I like how it was old timer with the new young kid. And the tag forumla was perfect....Edge does all the work, becomes face in peril, Hogan gets the crowd bat shit, and makes the hot tag and does his thing. Perfect. I also liked the Rock/Hogan tag team in the summer of 2002, but that never went anywhere. Austin/Hogan would be sweet...they'd be way over.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 Just seeing that shot in mindblowing. Granted thats not the vintage Hogan look but its close enough say your prayers, take your vitamins, and drink your budweiser
