Guest AndrewisyourHero Report post Posted March 11, 2003 Reportedly less like Heyman than originally thought... Dave Lagana, the new head writers of Smackdown, is considered more like Brian Gewirtz than Paul Heyman, despite dealing so closely with Heyman as of late. Lagana is seen as more of a Hollywood type of writer than a traditional wrestling writers. Because of this, Lagana isn’t as respected as Heyman for his wrestling pedigree, but seems to be well liked. credit: Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter

Guest IB2BLACK Report post Posted March 11, 2003 Why is all the "backstage news" that has been coming out recently, involves Heyman? He must be supplying these sites, with info.
Guest Zero_Cool Report post Posted March 11, 2003 We'll know that for sure when we see a "Paul Heyman: Great Dancer" headline on PWTorch. I have no problem with the fact that he's more "hollywood" than Paul..as long as the shows don't suck ass, it's all good.

Guest Brian Report post Posted March 11, 2003 I don't see why people are complaining. SmackDown's been better as of late. Up until the Angle injury, everything was basically good to go and the cruiserweight division finally had momentum.

I believe he was on the writing team for a season of Friends or something.

I actually remember this guy's posts from back then, too.
