Guest My Eyebrow is on fire Report post Posted March 11, 2003 well - I was just rejected from the U.S. Navy recruiting officers! My life is so directionless - I have no job skills, no money saved, I am in despair - old people who I ask for advice tell me the service will straighten me right out, give me a responsibility or whatever... so I call the naval recruiting office because I don't want to kill anyone hand to hand ...told them I'd like to enlist... they ask me if I've ever been in mental therapy - I say yes, hell EVERYONE has! I took some prozac and lithium 2 years ago because the therapist recommended it - I've been off of it for 2 years!!! They told me the mere fact I took prozac once disqualifies me from all positions in the armed forces, that I was in mental therapy for a condition...I'm inelligible. To quote tony soprano worrying about his boy, or paraphrase him rather....how the hell am I going to save myself? I'm a nobody with no skills and no money for college... homeless shelter here I come. EDIT - at least I don't have to worry about the draft.

He learned just forget that part and you're in A guy I went to HS with had a bum shoulder from a wrestling injury he suffered. He enlisted. Passed the physicial and made thrpugh basic. When he made his first jump from a plane, he landed hard, fucked up that same shoulder and was medically discharged. Uncle Sam now sends him a monthly check for the rest of his life. Guest Plushy Al Logan Report post Posted March 11, 2003 I was discharged before going to Boot Camp, I hurt my leg, and started taking Ibuprofen. I also got some wierd, unrelated infection which caused me to take Amoxcillin.
Guest RenegadeX28 Report post Posted March 11, 2003 Well, I don't know what my friend is gonna do..... He was accepted by the U.S Navy, he gets shipped out Sept 2003. Well, he is deaf in one ear. He had to do the hearing test. The officer left. My friend knew that he was going to fail this test. So, he used his good ear to hear both beeps. He passed the test. Now, what if the Navy discovers the fact he is deaf in one ear?

I guess he'll have to get a hearing aid, that is accepted by the Department of Defense, to make sure they don't discharge him or fine him.

Guest tank_abbott Report post Posted March 14, 2003 Ummmm Quit jerking off in your office and try WORKING! If all else fails apply at Wal-mart, enjoy being overpaid, and getting away with slacking. That's what I do $9.12 an hour and I do NOTHING OF NOTE!
Guest My Eyebrow is on fire Report post Posted March 14, 2003 Ummmm Quit jerking off in your office and try WORKING! If all else fails apply at Wal-mart, enjoy being overpaid, and getting away with slacking. That's what I do $9.12 an hour and I do NOTHING OF NOTE! 9.12 an hour isn't enough for a 1 room apartment where I live guy...I make almost twice as much now - it's a lot easier to say "Just be motivated" when I've never had a routine my entire life...that's where the military would come in - forcing me to become a man, sometimes you just can't do that on your own - my case having no father, and other people's cases having a gay sissy father and mother who shake their finger at you instead of whooping your ass.
