Sigh this exact topic has been beaten to death, and that topic is still on the front page.  I don't mind duplicate topics if the other one is old and buried, but at least check the *front page* to see if your topic has already been posted...

" This topic has been beaten to death. "

I'm not really against any system, I like what I can afford.  But I do think X-Box could come out with a few more good games.

Urk.. Not again.. KOR is right on this. You're beating a dead horse with this topic. If I remember correctly, this was one of the very first topics started on this board. I hope we don't have to go through everything that was in the first one. Oy vey

All I know is that the X-Box fucking sucks.

Halo is a fucking joke. I don't know how people can think that it is such a great game. I know that I don't enjoy running around the same fucking room for 8 hours.

Nintendo systems are always the best. Zelda, Final Fantasy, Metroid, Castlevania, etc. The Gamecube is going to be the best "nextgen" console. The PS2 has GTA3, and that is about it.

All my opinions, bare in mind.

you may have just opened up a can of worms there, man.

I'm just saying.

Based on a judgement on one game really voids your opinion.

Besides Halo is an excellent game, but on hard, and this game is the shiznits.

If you played a few games then its a different story.

No system sucks. Each will make a technical advancement into video game technology.

The thread that you speak of is nowhere to be found right now. Perhaps it was on he old server, but I don't see it here. I was hoping that you guys would talk this topic up because I am contemplating buying either an X-Box or Gamecube and there is already a PS2 in mmy house. I played NBA Courtside at Best BUy and wanted to play it some more, but I have yet to play an X-Box game.

Fine, I'll bump it. Besides, it has much more valid points in it than this does at the moment

The NES, SNES, black and white GB, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Sega 32X, Game Gear, Sega Master System, Super GB, and every other classic system rock. The only good 3-D systems are the PS1, PS2, and the X-box. The other 3-D systems are dumb.

Dreamcast was good while it lasted, to bad Sega went under.

Gamecube is crap becuase there's too many kiddy games. Back then Nintendo was cool with the NES and SNES but now thy're crap because of Pukemon and Super Stupid Bros. Melee. I'd rather see another Duck Hunt  or Kid Icarus or Startropics game. I only like the old classic Nintendo. I hope someone kills Shigeru Miyamoto. The best video game person is Nolan Bushnell.

What company does he work for today?  Does he still work for Atari, Midway, Namco?

I still think that the Dreamcast is the best system that has been made, in the past 5 years.  Its game library had several great games by Capcom, SNK, SEGA Sports but it never had the game that made the kids say "I must have that".  Sega just became a footnote to the Pokemon craze :(

Nolan Bushnell created Atari. He is responsible for creating classic arcade games like Pong, Asteroids, Centipede, Crystal Castles, Millipede,Missile Command, and  many more.
