Guest wwF1587 Report post Posted March 12, 2003 On my venture to Austin last week, I had Krispy Kreme donuts for the first time. ... They are orgasmic. I swear they are. lol.. i have never heard them or thought of them to be that good... the gas station a couple houses away from my house always has some in stock unless it like Saturday or Sunday morning... the things are addictingly good... especially warm... i have had soo many though that they have kind lost the "orgasmic" effect to them
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Report post Posted March 12, 2003 I don't get KK's -- I mean they're good, but they're not worth spooging over...

Guest crandamaniac Report post Posted March 12, 2003 I don't get KK's -- I mean they're good, but they're not worth spooging over... As a guy who lives but a mere 30 minutes from the birthplace of Krispy Kreme's, let me tell you that you are in fact wrong. When they put up that "Hot Doughnuts Now" sign, It pulls you in like a moth. And when you bite in that first doughnut, I'm telling you it's like GOD himself created that doughnut just for you. Guest Retro Rob Report post Posted March 12, 2003 I generally don't like donuts or cakes or anything like that, but this is always room for KK.

Guest swan Report post Posted March 12, 2003 I don't get KK's -- I mean they're good, but they're not worth spooging over... <golf clap> Most over rated piece of food ever. We have old school ma and pop bakery's that kill KK. Did ya know KK pays people to stand in line the night before the grand opening? Creates a buzz and gets them in the papers and TV and makes the common idoit Joe think "Well if everyone one else wants them so do I."
Guest starvenger Report post Posted March 12, 2003 Krispy Kremes are evil in the guise of a light fluffy donut covered in a sugary glaze. I avoid them because otherwise I'll end up eating 3 or 4 and end up on a massive sugar high. They opened up the second Canadian location close to my parents and every time I go back I see a fairly substantial lineup there. The coffee isn't as good as the Timmy Ho's or Country Style down the road though...
Guest Brian Report post Posted March 12, 2003 There's better spots, but they are very good (at least the glazed). Not enough body to them though and thus you end up eating a few.

Guest CED Ordonez Report post Posted March 13, 2003 I pop in to the local KK once in a blue moon and only when I can get them hot off the oven. It's a good doughnut, but dammit, it's an expensive donut.

Guest The Metal Maniac Report post Posted March 13, 2003 Wait, wait...They managed to build one of these places in Canada? Honestly, I thought all the Tim Hortonites would've killed all the constuction workers, and poured their blood into a fresh new batch of coffee to be served at one of the 3 Tim Horton's located within 30 seconds of the construction zone. Tim Horton addicts scare me...
Guest starvenger Report post Posted March 13, 2003 Tim Horton addicts scare me... Hey, buying a tin of their coffee to take back to Houston does NOT make me an addict. Now, how does this IV hookup go again?

Guest starvenger Report post Posted March 14, 2003 What, did you think that all Canadians live in Canada? And my autobiography will be ghostwritten, if only so I can do a David Wells denial of what was written in a book that I (allegedly) wrote...
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted March 14, 2003 The original Krispy Kreme stores are alot better than the franchised locations. The franchised locations are just too commercialized. I knew the greatness of KK long before they were sold in gas stations. I often went to one when i went to visit kin folk in Kentucky. So I was happy when i heard about them being sold in grocery stores because I'd be able to eat them more often. But the "franchised" versions just aren't the same or nearly as good as the original locations.

Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted March 15, 2003 They're good dounts, but they're too light and too expensive. I can eat like 6 of them without even noticing. I'd rather buy like 2 donuts from somewhere else and be much more filled and save a lot of money.
