If they were going to take a non canadian....you would certainly figure it would be Rock or Hogan....seeing as they are "icons" and crossover stars...

Tripple H?  I guess he's doing a Christian and changing his hometown!

Maybe he's screwing the daughter of the TV Guide Canada secretly too.

Maybe because he was fighting for the championship at the time.

But I see everyone's point.

I thought HHH was a Frenchie Canadian or something? Either that or I'm confusing myself because one of his early gimmicks was being a stereotypical French who also happened to wrestle.

And by the way, that song is "One of these things is not like the others. One of these things doesn't belong." Go earn yourself some Sesame Street. :D

Well, his real name is Paul Levesque, which is obviously French in origin, so that's probably where your confusion comes from.

Also the WCW gimmick as "jean-paul" blueblood.

Isnt it funny when you see stuff from back then and compare it to now.

Imagine if you had to seriously sit down and explain to a mark how the heck HHH goes from being a prissy snob to some "bad-ass" Game?

He just loses the accent , bulks up and becomes a whole differnt person?

Maybe the Blueblood version was his "Bruce Banner"

and now he;s permanaentl "hulk"ed out. ;)

"bulks up?" That's a nice way of putting it.

I figured bulking up was the nicest, general way of putting it.

it was either that or "started taking his vitamin s and drinking lots and lots of juice"

Angle, you don't think two weeks before the big show that he was going to win, and maybe the sales of his TV guide would push further.
