Guest Polish_Rifle Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 What a great game! The Lakers might have been able to afford to lose to bum teams last season, but they can't afford any more letdowns or else they might miss the playoffs. Go Timberwolves! Go Detroit! Go Bucks! Let's put the nail in the coffin.
Guest Vern Gagne Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 Put the nail in the coffin. In what way, have the Lakers get a lower playoff seed? They don't even care, hell they own Dallas and won't even mind playing them. Forget about missing the playoffs because that won't happen.
Guest The Electrifyer Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 I woke up early this morning just so I could see those highlights and how sweet it was! I'm pretty proud of my Bulls, especially with the play of Eddy Curry in the past few games and Chandler has stepped it up too.
Guest Crazy Dan Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 Any team that can drain threes like the bulls did last night, is usually assured of at least being in the game and even winnning the the game. Also, having your big men shut down Shaq, is another great way to win the game.

I'd say it was more of matter of Shaq shutting down himself.

Guest Polish_Rifle Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 I'm telling you they might not even make the playoffs. The Warrioirs are looking strong and the Suns are the Suns. The Lakers are currently in 7th place and a few more losses and you never know. Go Timberwolves! Do us all prooud and kick the Lakers while they're down.
Guest ant_7000 Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 Im glad that my Bulls won, but they will probably lose to Memphis tonight. They beat the surging Warriors then lost to the Struggling Clippers and now they the hot Lakers and I think they won't keep up the intensity tonight. I am glad that Curry and Chandler are stepping it up after the All-Star Break and im glad that they stop bullshitting and started Crawford over Williams.
Guest razazteca Posted March 13, 2003 Report Posted March 13, 2003 Spurs are squashing the T-Wolves so it looks like Spurs vs Lakers again in the 1st round.
Guest Space_Cowboy Posted March 13, 2003 Report Posted March 13, 2003 Well at least the Lakers will almost certainly not be playing the TrailBlazers in the first round this year, thus giving my Blazers a chance to choke against someone else for once.
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted March 13, 2003 Report Posted March 13, 2003 HAHAHAHAHAHAHA The Lakers lost to the Pistons. A few more and they will be on the outside of a playoff spot looking in.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted March 13, 2003 Report Posted March 13, 2003 Man...LA got stomped by the Pistons tonight. Wallace's block on Shaq was fucking nasty on the highlights.
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted March 13, 2003 Report Posted March 13, 2003 Okur's pump fake of a 3 and then subsequent drive to the basket and two-hand dunking the ball was freaking wicked! Bulls - check Pistons - check Let's go T-Wolves!
Guest Vern Gagne Posted March 13, 2003 Report Posted March 13, 2003 Spurs are squashing the T-Wolves so it looks like Spurs vs Lakers again in the 1st round. While I have confidence in the Spurs. Please Utah, move into 6th place.
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted March 14, 2003 Report Posted March 14, 2003 The Suns beat the Kings on Thursday to stay withink striking distance of the Lakers. Let's hope the Timberwolves will get over the shock of losing to the Spurs and take out their frustrations on the Lakers tonight!
